    Estimate the transfer duty you will pay on your property by looking at this SARS table (remember that will just be the transfer duty not everything else listed below and stated in this video).

    Thanks for the detailed and transparent breakdown. I cannot believe the state or the regulatory body for property transfers and registrations allows all these line items that are probably bogus and inflated. Postage and petties?Is this 1999 or what? Deeds office search fee + deeds office fee? Do you get receipts for these "fees" that were paid to the deeds office and postage?

      Welcome to the community Kabelo ☺️✨ I didn’t pay the first invoices I had received in 2019-2020 much thought but the ones I received recently shook me to attention hence I had to go through them with you guys. Maybe we need a lawyer to explain what all those line items mean.

    Just a question on the R42750 transfer duties. If i remember correctly you mentioned that the 2nd property is around R1Mil, did you add the transfer cost +transfer duty? Am just trying to understand how the calculation works because it looks like a lot just for transfer duties.
    Anyways just on the point of what does the seller pay for. In most cases they pay commission, CGT, electrical compliance certificates as well as three months municipal rates. When selling property. It's still alot of money for the seller as well.

    • @chatwithtisa
      @chatwithtisa  Před 2 lety

      Property 2 is over 1 million almost 2 mil. no I didn’t combine the transfer duty and the transfer cost. You can check out the SARS table for the transfer duty amounts depending on property prices, the amount is set by SARS it’s a Tax that’s paid to them, then the transfer duty receipt is issued which will be submitted with all other documents at the final stage which is the deeds office.
      Our sellers got lucky they didn’t really pay for much, I’ll explain what I mean in another video.

    Hi Tisa🥺 sorry for hijacking this video, however, I've been watching your videos for days about investing and finally was ready to register on the JSE website as shown in your video you did 2 years ago however I wasn't sure if you'll be able respond there since its an oldie video. I'm new and have watch most of your videos regarding EE investing and I wanna start, however when I visit the JSE website it's not the same anymore after selecting the menu bar and clicking trade and find me a broker it takes me to a page where it says "This is a consolidated list of Brokers" and have 5 option to choose where I have to filter by members or derivatives it's all confusing. I think they updated their website can you please do an updated video tutorial on how to find a broker specifically Easy Equity, or simply reply to the comment to guide me if you can. I was really excited and now I'm stuck 😭😭help please🙏🏽

      Hi Mbali, no problem, thanks you for leaving this comment. When I made that video 2 years ago it was to show how one can look for legitimate places to buy shares via the JSE website. I chose to go with EasyEquities and It’s been over two years now, I think they have the best and most convenient platform, you can download the App, register, get approved and make your first deposit and buy your first share 🎉 let me know how it goes, I’m sure you’ve seen all my other investment videos too ✨

    Hey when exactly after getting your bond approved did you have to pay these amounts

    • @chatwithtisa
      @chatwithtisa  Před 5 měsíci

      Not long after, because the lawyers will start the processes and towards the end of it all you’ll have to make certain payments, it’s best to have some money saved up for lawyer fees and just in case your don’t get 100% of your bond approved.

    hm. Don't you have the greater than and less than signs the wrong way around? Greater than >, less than 3 , 5 greater than 3
    3 < 5 , 3 less than 5.
    So you're video shows property 2 as less < than a million and property 1 as greater > than a million, though you said it's the other way around.
