- Remember that buying a home or property means that you need to budget more than just the loan you wish to secure. Buying property requires you to also make provision for transfer fees.

Thanks so much for giving us(me) this amazing info, I just thought you put down payment(20%) from your credit then the bank puts down 80%(debit). Now I know that there are additional fees, I knew about the rates, but the process looks long and tedious. Question tho, when it comes to renovating/remodling a house, is it part of the loan the banks will give you or does it come out of your own pocket wheter it being credit or cash.

Out of interest, does the OTP have any clause against the buyer for not have the transfer fees money? By the way,do attorneys charge a separate fee for handling the transfer levy (duty)?
From what I have researched, yes the attorneys charge you a separate fee. They give you a time limit to pay the transfer duty(6 months I believe) and if you miss the deadline they will charge you interest
