- I visit Ashgill Force as I head across the Pennines. A new location for me.
I was heading over the Pennines and was looking for a photographic location to stop at on the way. Via Google Maps I found Ashgill Force, what a magnificent waterfall with many lesser falls on Ash Gill.

Thank you for taking time to watch and comment.
Wow I’m just loving these waterfall shots 🤩The long exposures are outstanding as always. The stair step falls are a dream for filming. Fine work David. 👍
Thanks so much! I will return when there is better light. It was quite dark in the canyon.
It’s a great place. Whenever I go, I park at garrigill and walk there through the fields. It’s so relaxing and stunning! It’s always quiet whenever I go in spring too which is nice. Just a few people round who are always friendly.
Thank you for your comments. Having discovered this place I will be returning.
@@keswicklimeyphotography it’s great! Have you been to high and low force? They are pretty close to this one and they are equally as stunning. Only thing is they are much more know and hence more busy, especially in the summer months.
I have been to High Force and there is a video showing my visit. I have as yet not been to Low Force, will have to go sometime.
@@keswicklimeyphotography it’s found just a little bit further down the same river High Force is found on. It’s not as picturesque as high force but it is really cool to look at as it looks like the water flows much quicker.
Looks a great place and you got some great shots, thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. Have had a quick look at your channel and have subscribed and keep up with you.
@@keswicklimeyphotography thank you very much for subscribing, really appreciate it. Im subscribed to you too 😊👍
The stair-step nature of this waterfall is really interesting. I bet with a longer lens you could spend all day picking out isolated compositions. Nice!
Thank you for the comment. I am sure you could. I intend on going back when there is better light and I have more time.
Very Nice, if you ever get to Settle Scaleber Force is probably the best in Yorkshire for photography 🥰
Thank you for the comment. Scaleber Force is great waterfall. I have been a couple of times.
Nice waterfall, and good luck on Iceland. Dont fall into any volcanoes!
Thank you. A volcano image would be great!!
