A Walk up Grisedale Pike - Landscape Photography

- I go for a walk up Grisedale Pike for some landscape photography.
I decided I needed a good walk so headed off to walk to the top of Grisedale Pike starting from Braithwaite. I took my camera with me to get some nice landscape scenes. From the top I head to Coledale Hause via Hopegill Head where there are some waterfalls. From there I headed back via Force Crag Mine.

Hi Limey, was over Keswick that day, went up Walla and Falcon crags and down Cat gill which didnt do my knees much good! Keep up the good work.

Great that you were able to get out and up Walla Crag. The desert down Cat Gill can be a bit hard on the knees.

Yes I do take food and water with me. On this type of walk I just take the minimum of what I need assuming I won't get stuck out there needing more. If the weather is bad or going camping I do allow extra for an emergency.
