Their ballads have always been my favourite as Lee really shines vocally. One Love is a crowd pleaser and has a small dance routine.
Guilty was written by Duncan and Gary Barlow who is in Take That. Theres a live at the Riverside album launch set they did which is worth checking out as the do Fly By, Guilty, Breathe easy, Bubblin, One Love and a couple of album tracks off the Guilty Album called When summer is gone and where you want me

Ah, Blue. Never before have I seen a band brought down by one member's mouth, LOL. (I still say that Simon was definitely one of the hottest guys in British pop music at the time)
They actually became more popular in the uk after that comment lol just messed up their chances of breaking into the usa
Many boybands seem to follow the Boyz II Men template. In this case, Lee is def the Wanya of the group, Duncan would maybe be Nate and Simon, Shawn. Anthony being the odd one out cause he doesn't sing bass see he's clearly not the group's Mike.
It seems, if listening to the chorus and harmony structures that the upbeat tracks are vocally led by Simon and Duncan whereas Lee always leads the ballads. Shame If You Come Back wasn't included.

What a great reaction! 👏'Breath Easy' is such a vocally demanding song, Lee killed it. He's one of the best boy band vocalists ever, in line with Brian Littrell, AJ, JT, JC, Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Gary Barlow and some others.

I got a bit bored of Blue when they were first out. Lee belting at the end of a song got a bit formulaic (a bit like Mystique - a British soul girl band you must check out. Alysha Dixon is amazing). But I've never heard Breathe Easy before and it was beautiful. I forgot how good his voice was. And, look at you turning the air blue (geddit? lol)

This brings me right back to 2001 and the “Now That’s What I Call Music! 49” CD I got for Christmas that year- “All Rise” was on it 🔥. You NEED to check out “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (with Elton John)”. Also “If You Come Back”, “Curtain Falls”, “Too Close” and “Fly By”.
