Better Days is Jon’s first solo since Happy Birthday (on Step by Step), written for him specifically by Joey.

I think the 80s vibe works so well for Joey because it suits his dramatic, musical theatre style. The 80s were often over-the-top, and that feel lets him cut loose a bit.

They were joking about a country album when they were on Kelly Clarkson to announce the tour.

Girls Aloud were formed in 2002 from a TV show in the UK called "Popstars:The Rivals". A lot of male and female contestants competed to join 2 groups at the end, a girl band and a boy band. The 2 groups then competed to get the Christmas no.1 in the UK. Sound of the Underground was the girls debut single and was the Christmas no.1 with the boy band "One True Voice" getting the no.2 single on the chart. Girls Aloud then went on to great success in the following 10 years.

The big man Clarence Clemmons. I went to a Bruce Springsteen concert in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late eighties. Another time my friends and I went to a popular music place in Mill Valley Ca. Sweetwater, the had live music on the weekends. We went a Sunday afternoon, and a local band was playing, however Clarence was playing the saxophone (his mother lived in the area), it was very different than the huge Springsteen concert, more intimate. Both great experiences.

Brilliant Albumn, bought it when it first came out. Very moving Albumn.

You need to see them live. They put on a fantastic show. Ive seen them 4 times now and every tour they do I will make sure to go back and see them.

I heard their version of “What About Now” playing in Walgreens, of all places, here in Mississippi. Shocked the heck out of me. Maybe their performances in the U.S. this year got more attention from listeners than was expected. All people have to do is hear them sing and they are hooked on Westlife! Hoping Mark gets better and they do another tour in the U.S.

Scared of the Dark is an amazing song and video is so much darker in tone. Was their returning 20 years later first song.
