What's crazy is the amount of CZcams videos you have made with this fault on the vauxhalls, Nissan, and renaults with the upstream sensor pipe being blocked. And these mechanics of dpf specialist can't CZcams the fault and see a video you made and fix the fault themselves. ❤
What’s even more crazy is all the Garages don’t seem to be able to fix these problems.
They should include all your videos in the diagnostic Dan tsb software there so help full and I'm a mobile mechanic learning alot on dpf from your videos thanks for your hard work and help
Use a plumbing analogy if you got a leak there's no point mopping the floor until you've fixed the pipes 👍
Seems to be a real lack of knowledge about dpf systems among mechanics.
So many of them are not mechanics.

Thanks Jimmy, fixed this exact faulting a Nissan quasquai. Trouble was could not inject down the pipe with the engine running it kept blowing back🤬. Got pressure down to 5mbr at idle👍

What have people used for cleaning out the sensor tube, I used a bike brake cable which worked, is there anything better, thanks for the videos Jim 👍

For the external air temp sensor test on the drivers mirror, when in live stream hold the sensor with your fingers and you will see the reading change very quickly. Might not be so easy in warmer weather so you may need to use a freezer spray.

I had a passat 1.6 bluemotion that gave me hell with dpf and egr problems. I think you would have sorted it.
Top job. Interesting what you say about Opel/ Renault. My opel Zafira 1.7cdti does not show cetain data on my Launch.. i was hopibg it would show LT & ST fuel trims…

Hi jimmy, have you tried a bit of curtain track wire in the drill to clear the pipe or do you think it will be too big diameter?
I got one, and it just raise and looks like a humpback bridge on the graph.
Pipes clear, nanometer reading as it should on the pipe.
Single pipe with internal pressure sensor for atmosphere pressure.
All seems to be working as should but the graph looks odd.
Toyota verso with 1.6 bmw engine and they changed sesnor location and design, even autodata has it wrong..
Im not a mechanic but love these videos. Any entry level tab for a tradie to inspect his vehicle ??
I use a topdon 800BT does all the resets and graphs etc👍
As you say if you don’t get back to the root cause the fault will just be back again. 5*

Squeeze it for a few seconds, then we will stop ha ha. You need to make something out of grip clips to keep that badger in its hole lol.
