"We're just a DPF cleaning firm "...what they mean is they want easy money and either cannot be bothered with the root cause of the dpf blocking or don't know what they are doing. Thank goodness for people like Jimmy, doing a proper job . Nice one Jim.
Unfortunately there will always be those who jump on anything which makes them quick and easy money but have little to no understanding what they are doing.
They don't offer "mechanic" services, just the quick easy money job. If you only need the dpf cleaned, fine, but these people are not in the business of repairing. If you have a leaking pipe which brings a ceiling down, you wouldn't only fix the ceiling, you'd get a plumber in first. It's the customer looking for the cheap fix that ends up costing too much.
The air temperature sensor circuit fault was in memory so it wasn’t current. On my Vivaro, if the sensor is disconnected, the yellow adblu/exhaust symbol lights up on the dash. Love these videos, cleaned 2 upstream pressure pipes for friends now using your method but only the wire and brake cleaner, not the dpf cleaner. I think cleaning these pipes should be included in a service now because of all the problems being caused.
Another great informative video 🙌 absolute legend sharing the knowledge and helping people! I’m thinking of buying a van and really struggling with what’s the safest bet? Which Renault traffic would you say is the better engine the 1.6 or the newer 2020 2.0 dci engine version please?

It must be so annoying knowing that people carry out repairs and don't use a scanner to reset the vehicles diagnostics.
I know you're a busy guy Jimmy and probably won't answer this but here goes. What van do you see the least problems? I'm guessing the VW as you use one yourself? Cheers, great video as usual.
Jimmy what areas do you cover? How much do you charge to do this? My Renault traffic sport is abit sluggish. After going for the MOT it was great for that day. The next day it went back to being sluggish. New sub please keep the videos coming 👍
My 2009 van doesn't have a DPF (like that from factory) yet it threw a depollution fault. I though it was due to summer diesel in the tank but it didn't go away after refilling to winter diesel and driving a lot so I was at a loss. Fault codes wouldn't go away after deleting. It complained about low pressure but fuel pressure was fine. Thinking there was a vacuum in the tank I did a lot of things. Blew air through the tank fuel lines to try to get rid of any wax and oiled the tank cap to make sure the vent was open. Didn't fix anything. There was also a code on "throttle pedal signal unlikely" or something like that that's been there since I bought the van. I took off the pedal, cleaned the electronics and contact and reinstalled. After that the codes could finally be deleted and all is fine. The diagnostic systems suck at telling me what is actually wrong witht the car. Sometimes the added complexity is just a pain in the butt.
I had anti pollution fault, and kept going into limp mode o my 2009 expert (without dpf) I cleaned my egr valve, its was very dirty and clogged up… and it’s been okay for the last week of two… I imagine it’ll slowly start doing it again soon 😂 but least she runs… if not gets bad again, I shall replace my EGR valve and fuel pressure sensor
If that has recently had a dpf clean. Where did they put the fluid? If only they had put it in the easiest place. They would have found the blocked pipe
brilliant again. you play that machine like a top pianist plays his piano. well done. anyway , i drive a vw transporter . but i have not seen u work on one yet is that a good sign ?
we havs cleaned the pipe as in your videos on a 17 plate traffic and cleared the code but the check anti polution mesage just comes straight back any help appreciated
Hi I have a 2016 renault traffic van Is there any way of increasing the speed restriction limit with that tool or is it hard programmed into the engine ecu so you can’t change it . Cheers.
"The customer doesn't want an oil change today" . So you called O'Riley, to fix your car, and you won't let him change the oil. Tsk tsk tsk, some people.

Should I get my 2017 cleaned, there are no issues with the van but it’s done 78k
If the upstream is showing 0mb is the sensor faulty and will it cause issues? Thanks
How did you remove the rubber pipe from the metal pipe ? Tray as I may I can’t release the clip to loose the rubber pipe

Hi I cleared the pipe and got zero pressure in pipe is the sensor called exhaust sensor
I had one of these on Friday that pipe was so blocked I could hold a vacuum on it
If that has recently had a dpf clean. Where did they put the fluid? If only they had put it in the easiest place. They would have found the blocked pipe
Probably stright in the dpf my guess.
👍🏻

It can be a number of things when the anti-pollution light check injector comes on, need to plug the van in and get codes son.
What is the best way to get car booked with you?

I presume you mean speed limiter. That has to be mapped out
Using a laptop probably
Why do it clog?
Diesels of today mate, they built shit and made to break for cowboy companies to take all ya hard earned savings

dude these after treatment issues, its like all you seem to fix, this is why people want to delete them.
How often does the “check anti-pollution system” signal pop up or how long does show up after having it cleaned or cleared?
Thanks in advance.

His probably spent close to £1000 on it son
