This song Amir Zaki especially compose for his EX-Wife. Brilliant Melody.
A great master piece who trained many International rock bands.
A huge lost of Creative mind.

Few insights:
The song was performed right after Aamir Zaki Passed away in June 2017. Few days back it was Aamkr Zaki’s Third death anniversary. He was considered one of the finest guitarist of Pakistan. He had the same status what Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani has in the west. But ironically wasn’t much appreciated among the general public as there is no value for artists in our society. Poor bloke died amid bearing deep depression.

Kashmir band was the winner of Pepsi battle in 2017, n they sung beautifully well n all falsefetos. Aamir Zaki original was super duper massive hit in Pakistan at that time and it was played everywhere. I still play it sometime when I miss his song. Well kashmir band did full justice to original.

Ye meray bachpan ka gaana hay. I remember buying the cassette and absolutely loving it, it had guitar solos/instrumentals in it mostly but this song became his biggest hit

I’m telling ya guys your missing on so much good music just because people keep asking you to react on cover songs, there are heaps of artists with original music but no body asks for it. Sushant have spoken many a times about band culture, let me tell you brother thr band culture is flourishing as never before, i can name 100 of bands to check out with each having unique sound ranging from folk eastern to Death Metal. But then again you gotta run your channel so, “jo chalta hai wuhe dikhta hai” cant blame you guys. You might have the impression Pakistan only has Nescafe, Pepesi and come studios but that’s not the truth the level and amount of original music Pakistan is putting up currently is way too high.
Secondly reacting to the original music gives immense confidence boost to the artist and spreads it as well. This is the reason Xulfi commented on Toofan video cause that was original raw talent unlike covers.

You should have listened to the original. This is overly dramatic. Check his originals: Iss baar milo feat Hadiqa Kiani (especially the official video). Badnaam and Bhula Deyna. He was a kinda depressed soul and his music reflects that, very sensitive and NOT commercial at all. I consider his music to be like art movies in India, not commercially viable but very artistic which in my book is a very good thing actually better.
