This is fawad Khan and this song even won rock song of the year on MTV India in 2006 or 2007 I think lol. They were a huge band in the 2000s. For Pakistanis fawad Khan will always be the cool rocker guy as he ruled the charts in the 2000's with Entity Paradigm. This song is very old and this is a reunion performance as EP disbanded in 2007 with Fawad khan in lead vocals. You should check out thier album ''Irtiqa' it's amazing. This is why Pakistanis love him so much coz we grew up listening to him then watching him on TV and cinema. He has always been a big part of Pakistani pop culture and even created it!

Call is class apart and EP (Entity Paradigm) got disbanded, and this was their reunion after so many years while Call do regular concerts across Pakistan, esp in major universities... SO yeah, Fawad is not that much into music scene of late. Call is pure rock, they have no competition here, and the fun thing is that the lead vocalist of Call is also an actor. YUP, you read that right. Bruh, we've got too many bands here, unlike India where Bollywood dominated music scene and everyone wants to be in Film Industry.
Fawad Khan was the lead vocalist of the band EP (Entity Paradigm) from 2000-2007 and they were runners-up in Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 1 and 2009-2011. This was a reunion performance after 9 years so yes as compared to Call which has been practicing for quite a while, the energy level was low but still a good performance.
Here's another interesting fact the lead guitarist of EP is Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Also known as Xulfi) is the producer for Nescafe Basement and is the lead guitarist and one of the founding members of Call as well. Call has also sung for some Bollywood films which include Laaree Chotee for Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Yeh Pal for Aasma: The Sky is The Limit, Dharkay Jiya for Aloo Chat and Kuch Aisa and Reh Jaane Do for Aao Wish Karein. I recommend you check out some songs of EP : Hamain Aazma, Hamesha, Waqt, Kahan Hai Tu, Aghosh and Shor Macha and some songs of Call as well : Pukaar, Shayad, Aasman, Mein Aisa He Hoon, Teri Haar Hum, Ho Jaane Do, Kuch Nai, Hum Zalmi.

Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 1 was aired on 2002
I am an INdian and like zillions of EP fans , I am disappointed by these chhoochhunders.. who have no idea who EP are they have no idea about Music.
Fawad was a lead voclist of EP. they came runner up in pepsi bettle of the bands in 2002 and was a famous band. This song was a reunion of EP since it was disbanded in 2011.
This was EP’s reunion performance, just for the show. They came to light in the original PBOB in 2002 and then disbanded officially in 2007 I believe, only to get back together in 2009 again...and then disbanded again in 2012-ish when Fawad started focusing on his acting career. I’ve been a long time fan since 2002, so I’ll always prefer Fawad the singer over Fawad the actor. But EP was a big band. Zulfi is in this too - he formed Call after breaking off with EP. All the members of EP are very talented guys. Even the guy rapping (Ahmed) is a very talented actor - and Noor Jehan’s grandson.

Fawad Khan was a singer long before he came into acting. He was the lead vocalist of Entity Paradigm (EP) since 2000. The band is heavily influenced by western music rock artists like Metallica, Megadeth, Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Linkin Park and Oleander. It is one of the pioneering mainstream rock bands in the Pakistani music industry. This song was released in their debut album Irtiqa back in 2003. So this was a reunion performance after 15 years. Also, Zulfiqar J. Khan aka Xulfi who is the lead guitarist of EP is also the lead guitarist of Call. He created 2 of the most iconic bands in Pakistan.

Fawad Khan didn't started his career from EP. In fact, even before that, he did a famous TV series "Jutt and Bond".
Fawad Khan came to the media industry as a Singer, he was a lead singer in EP Band then he started acting which turned tables upside down. This song was his forever green song which he has performed, Fawad Khan is a legend himself.
Ep was considered as linkin park of pakistan in early 2000 and fawad is lead singer if the band who came second in pepsi battle of bands season1

Ye 2001 ka song hy eP ka. eP pepsi battle of bands ka runner up tha. Ye 2 bands entity n paradigm ko mila k bana tha so isk 2 vocalists thy. Fawad Khan n ahmed ali butt (jo rap ga raha tha). It was an alternate rock band you should listen "waqt" by eP. Fawad Khan was a rockstar. Then later fawad khan shun singing n acted in movies n drama humsafar. He became very famous n invited to India where he did movies . then he came back n performed in this battle of bands 2017 as his music comeback.
It would be really interesting for you guys to know that Pakistan has a long history of rock music. Starting from 1988 early 90s where Junoon band was the leading rock band n then numerous rock bands come n go here. We pakistanis love rock n have a taste for this. Atif Aslam/Jal bands "wo lamhay" is a perfect example. Pakistan had a rock fast version of that song which later made milder for bollywood movie n by Gohar of jal band. But do listen the original wo lamhay by Atif when he was in Jal band 2004

Yes its Fawad Khan and its his band. However it was broken and this song was their reunion. They have produced some best songs. This is their original and the name of band is EP. You should check their "Waqt" song. :)

He later on went for acting...their style is a lot different as compared to Call..but unfortunately they just released only their first album 'Irtiqa'
