Please ladies correct me if I'm wrong, I think this is one of those songs where the lyrics, the poetry is so powerful that it takes the center stage and we as listeners just forget that there's also the music part of the song. No doubt, the poetry of this song is fabulous and I fully agree with you that "SANSON KI CHOTI SI NAU TERA HE KINARA MANGAY" was just a KILLER PUNCH in the end. The judges are given lyrics on paper.. before the performances... thats why meesha was singing along..
I always knew you were going to love this song. This was a band which had staked its claim to the title with their very first song, and so from there on, all the other bands were competing for the runners up slot - or hoping for Abdul Rahman and his band to have an off day. There were some really, really good bands competing in that season, especially Aarish (the other finalists) Black Hour , Marjaan, Starzone, and E-Sharp (who got a rare standing ovation from Bilal Maqsood), but it’s just a measure of how good Auj were that they were never really doubtful winners.
In one of the episodes, perhaps the final one, the band revealed that they had been together already when the young vocalist was brought onboard. All they had to do - as the senior musicians in the band - was to channel his considerable range and capabilities by making him see that he needed to do one thing at a time and not do everything altogether.
The best part about PBOTB bands has been the renewed attention paid to the quality of lyrics. Many bands have excelled in this department, Bayaan, Xarb, Tamasha, Kashmir, Auj, Aarish, E-Sharp, Black Hour and many others impressed with the lyrics as much as with the music and the performance. My personal favorite is Bayaan, and so I continue to recommend more Bayaan reactions, but you should check out all of the listed bands above.
Bayaan have since released a couple of absolutely amazing albums and so have made the most of their success at the battles. Would be nice to see the albums from the other bands too.
This guy is like the Ronaldo of South Asian rock singers. So naturally talented and makes it look easy at such a young age too.
More like messi, He is talented. Ronaldo was more of a Hard worker than a natural Talent.
whenever I want to listen to some old or new tracks and unable to decide what to listen I visit your channel and you people never disappoint. I mean literally, this is the best music reaction channel. Both of you understand music very well. Every time I open CZcams for some educational videos this channel pops out and there goes my 4-5 hours.

This was not a lip sing, Misha was reading the lyrics from the paper they have on their desk. They were judging from the lyrics and pronunciation point of view as well. That's why before every performance judges had the printout of lyrics wither it's an original song by the band or a cover. BTW your reactions are Good.. at least you guys are reacting and noticing the music..not the appearances and ambiance. 👍🤘

Great reaction JoJo and Bhola ❤️One of their soulful performances was their last song on Pepsi battle of the bands Grand finale "Aansu" an emotional rock kind of feel it has. They have released songs after battle of the bands too from which one of my favourites is "Duraho". Also most of their songs are written by their lead vocalists only.

In Pepsi Battle of the Bands... Only Black Hour gave them some tough time... Do watch their song Ik Naye Subh (Black Hour)... Black Hour released their debut album "Woh Jahan" recently. Also Karakoram released their debut album "Ailaan-e-Jang". Auj released their single "Duhrao" while ago... BTW all available on Spotify as well ...
Apparently they didn't release an album but instead they did a single called Dohrao. They're releasing they're album this year and most probably it will be coming around the month of march
What! We’r in my zone 🔥. Lyrics are powerful as everybody commented, I also like the fact that the melody complemented it beautifully, the lead guitarist was knitting everything together so nicely!
Abdul Rahman is like an Marshall amp, loud and grungy. Here’s my suggestion, can we do Saanwre by Auj, it’s so nicely dark.

These guys are very different in what we use yo listen here our Rock music, lyrically, vocally. Excellently written. One suggestion for you guys is track "Suno" from the Bayaan Band's last Album also named "Suno". It's an audio, very very beautifully written and composed, light hearted, peaceful and it connects so much.. i am sure you ladies gonna love it.

Auj haven't released album yet, due to Covid, released few other songs as well.
Karakoram the band of Sherry Khattak, Bilawal Lahooti (from Nescafe Basement) released their first album, react on their song Raasta.

Lyrics were written by Abdul Rehman (the vocalist) himself.
It’s an original written by the singer, Boy Abdur Rahman can go all Robert Plant to Ghulam Hussain that’s how good his range is. Their new album “Sifar” is coming March this year. Their new video track is “Duhrao” released after battle of the bands.
He was clapping coz he got standing ovation from judges
The song was written by the vocalist Abdul Rehman himself and they share the transcript of the lyrics with the judges before singing it. You can see an actual paper on the table in front of judges. The vocalist by the is only 20 years old college drop-out.

Unfortunately I didn’t follow these bands much because they all I think were contractually bound with Pepsi for a while so didn’t have much original content coming out but these guys were definitely amazing . Another band that was really good was called Kashmir and their original song “kaghaz ka jahaaz” was just amazing . Another slower more soft rock song of theirs was their rendition of the Amir zaki classic “mera pyar” , see if you can react to it because the lead vocalist is one of the best I have heard in a long time with a voice I can only describe as a honey whisky, not sweet and with an edge
If you want to check out more songs from Battle of the bands, look for Xarb, Tamaasha, Bayaan and Kashmir. Tashnagi from Xarb is the one I'd recommend.
