What I see and love is the humbleness that comes through. Doesn't act like he already knows it all. Willing to be taught by professionals in a different discipline. And bringing your dad is way cool.

All I gotta say as a former hater is... I love seeing Tony get his swagger back. You may not see this, but you are a motorsport legend. Watching you jump into different disciplines makes me appreciate the true embodiment of a racer that you are. Stay safe and have fun!

@@Cheryl_Haydon REALLY? You ever drive a NHRA drag racing top-fuel race car? There's nothing else like it in any auto racing series. 300+ mph in less than 4 seconds is damn sure not easy and can be super dangerous. Many factors are involved just to keep the car going straight. Anything goes wrong, the result can be a disaster and possibly fatal. As a Tony Stewart fan, I think it's cool to see him get behind the wheel of a dragster, he's a competitive guy, he also will see and feel what his future wife does for a living. I also think it's cool that they have each other, they seem to be a good match together.

Congrats for your dad's birthday and still looks like he's in good health. My dad would be 74 tomorrow but the effects of agent orange finally took him. Glad to see you doing this, it would be cool if this becomes a new and different racing career. John Force may want you to step into his car when he retires.

Don't get me wrong, always been a fan but when I see the words Tony Stewart and a picture of a Top Fuel dragster, it gets me excited really fast! You have done a ton in and for motorsports and to me personally, this is icing on the cake! There are so many extremely extremely talented people that can tune these cars that aren't working right now and same goes with crew members and drivers. We definitely need more people in the nice ranks from other Motorsports, as well as sponsors and so on. Just like there needs to be a bigger Spotlight on the pro modified classes, especially the big screw blown stuff for example. There is also something really special about working on Drag Racing Engines versus other types because of all the things you do between rounds and at the shop.
Like there was any doubt Tony wasn't going to try this. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Congratulations on your new found venture. The NHRA would welcome your involvement within the sport as a driver or owner. đ

It would be very cool to see Tony Stewart get his NHRA license and go Top Fuel racing. Not a full season, not all the races, but to compete for one of sixteen spots at a few races would be great. I hope he does just that. Leah is so good looking, I love watching her race. Go Smoke!!!

Been there and done that but in a AA/FF car but not in a top fuel fuel dragster. One of our AA/FF cars we sold to Jungle Jim Lieberman. It's now at Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala FL. Driving a NHRA top fuel car is not a "piece of cake" to do, period.
