Got to meet her at the Southern Nationals in Atlanta and I have to say it meant a lot for her to come out and spend time signing autographs and taking pictures with us especially since it was the last ever Southern Nationals. She truly is a class act. Got to see Smoke there as well working in the background with the team.

As a fan I think it's awesome that your doing this, it would be cool if you chose to come out of retirement and did the dragster thing. Leah and you make a great team, but also a great couple. Cool that your Dad was there to watch it with you.

@@larrytaylor4482 gonna have to disagree there. I do miss the full quarter mile, but the sport is still great to watch and has some highly competitive racing. They got rid of the NASCAR-esque "countdown to the championship" and now it's just pure racing. And they still keep finding ways to wring more speed out of them. When they went to 1000 ft I thought we'd never see 330 mph again but they're doing it again, Robert Hight has even hit a high 339.
I as a kid started watching racing in the mid eighties. Gurney was done, Andretti was starting his end, Foyt, Uncle Bobby and Al Sr. were wrapping up. I never got to see McLaren, Miles, etc. Tony, whether he was "your" driver or not was that guy who could succeed in anything and would drive it if had wheels. He's the "last" of those guys and he is still making them proud.

The absolute best one-word description of Tony Stewart is: Racer. He is definitely hardcore. I've always been impressed with his total dedication and commitment to motorsports. I would have loved to have seen a 20-year old Tony Steward in a Formula 1 car. I'm confident that he'd have been very competitive. Nevertheless, it's really cool to see him in a Top Fuel car. Kudos to Leah Pritchard...great racer and coach too.

Tony, driving a NHRA top fuel car is no "piece of cake" to do. I've done it and it took me awhile to accomplish getting my NHRA top fuel license. At one time, I owned a NHRA drag racing team and we had two AA/FF cars. One we sold to Jungle Jim Liberman in 1974. That AA/FF long nose Vega car is at Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala FL. It's also my You Tube profile photo. BTW, I've been a fan since you first began racing as an adult. Unlike many auto racers, you respect all race car drivers regardless of gender. I also respect that you gave Danica Patrick a chance when nobody else would and she became the most successful female race car driver in auto racing history.

Most people don't remember that Smoke won the national championships in Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown series IN THE SAME YEAR! He then went on to become the '97 Indycar champion. I believe Tony has the skill set to race any motor sport he sets his sights on.
This comment is being made by a 61 year old fellow Hoosier who has been a race fan nut since 1966 my first Indianapolis 500. I been watching Tony race from the start this is only one man's opinion. There never was any doubt how he would do it's Tony he is a đ a racing god. Keep that wind at your back and, burn that fu_king track up.... Congratulations too you both on the up coming wedding....
Most people don't remember that Smoke won the national championships in Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown series IN THE SAME YEAR! He then went on to become the '97 Indycar champion. He followed that up with a well known NASCAR career, winning the championship 3 times.
