  • Well who saw this coming?! After incentivising low emission vehicles with sweet deals, now them up there in power are pulling the rug out from underneath people... Yup, that's right, the £10 congestion charge is going up to £15 per day, or £5,475 per year. The Net Zero Nonsense continues!

    • @geroutathat
      @geroutathat Před 8 dny

      Yeah but what they dont realize also is, cars in most of europe generate more money than they cost. The UK takes in 35 billion from petrol/diesel car drivers, and spends 4.5 billion on roads. So if London gets rid of all cars they will still need to maintain paths, cycle ways, etc and where will that money come from? They will also need to get money for other stuff that the 65 billion pays for, lets say some hospital bills or something. The only way for them to do this will be to charge you per mile walked or cycled. They will do stuff like "How far away do you live from work, 5 miles, okay thats 10 miles, we need a 1 pound a mile, so 10 pound a day".

    💯 - like I've said b4 we all need to stop wasting our time/life away working & take a second to look up at what is happening. I will NOT PAY TO USE A ROAD OUR TAX PAY FOR.
    They already charge us for public transport which we also pay taxes for, it's not going to work again!

      But they are just as much as part of the establishment as any other party or party leader. Don’t be fooled. If voting meant anything it would be illegal. Selected, not elected
