427 LSX is the engine of all time. SORRY. That would be an exactly stroked to 500CI Hemi my friend. =). 427LSX is up there though.
I like that you're building the bottom end SO much though. So many people are bolting bolting bolting but its just a lie waiting for a BOOM.

@@zcookie9272 500CI Hemi is the big boy in the world because that's what NHRA Funnycar and Top Fuel use for their cars. 12,000 HP with a 500CI block. :)
Sonnys makes a 1000CI block but engines that high are really just grasps at Nitrous. I don't think anybody with like Turbos or Supercharger or Prochargers try boosting many of Sonny's blocks :p
It is for guys doing what we do that size hemi is unneeded and way over kill and to heavy do what he does... And it's double the price fully setup about
@@freedomfox8183 Oh yes. Hemi isn't a poor man's game. You're generally getting a seriously built block if you get a normal Hemi and good bottom end. It's a high-end way to start a build but you're starting with an engine that will yawn and smile at 1500 hp and doesn't seriously start to doing sexy moans until 2500-4500 hp. That's a SERIOUS power plant but if you're serious about racing, maybe it's worth saving your shekels for s very seriously built engine? I'd love to hear what Guitar is planning as far as now and where he wants to go and CSP's design. I'm betting there are two turbos going on top of that engine given how well the twin red build is. The old Freedom Rocket engine/nitrous setup was coming in right about where his daily driver dual turbo engine was with a whole lot less trick so that new 427 would be fantastic with some turbos. (I'm a real turbo guy. I just love using waste to make your bost versus stealing HP for a supercharger to make boost. Prochargers I'm on the fence for. The latest high end one that's about the size of a wagon wheel is going to have its wings clipped in racing soon I think. It's too much power versus the others.
I've heard of guys doing 2000-2500 +HP with an LSX with zero issues but you start tricking that block out and having to get serious at watching your boost control to get there. I don't know...it seems a little scarier. There's dudes who keep stock corvette axels while they're doing 1000HP or more. It might work now, next week and next money however at some point those axels are going to snap and you sure as hell hope its not on a shift from second to third or third to fourth while doing 140+ MPH. My point is just because you CAN don't mean you should. I need to look more into higher end racing LSX I suppose. I would be good to hear what the Texas Speed racing block brings over a normal GM LSX.
The duty cycle on that built bottom end is probably serious as a heart attack shit. If something is past its number of runs, you dump it even if it looks perfect. Rods and even valves/rings need to be watched like a hawk as well.
I'm REALLY excited to see the new Freedom Rocket 2.0. I'll be nice to see that car putting down stupid power and getting into a serious racing series versus picking and piecing his racing schedule together (work included considering the dude works some insane hours).
Lastly, Nick's a seriously straight up cool dude. It would be fan frigging tastic to see him get his new car into smash mode. Making a race car versus a car that races are two separate deals. It sounds like he's making a race car so It'll be so sweet to see him qualifying and racing in serious events.

Changing blowers or going to Turbos ? Really considering removing my stock LSA blower and going Turbo in the near future . Currently have a custom grind Texas Speed Cam in my Motor . That company is top notch !

If I saw correctly you’re putting a blower on it just by looking at the front balancer. It looks just like the one I got for my ProCharger on my 727 pump gas Hemi

I passed a kidney stone in the middle of a 3 day filing cabinet install, also out of state but no hospital required for mine. I could try to imagine what a stone would feel like that needed hospital time but I'd rather NOT! I can feel that spot right now... I always picture the "metal Krusty-O" from the Simpsons (simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/The_Metal_Krusty-O) in my head when reminiscing of the feeling.

I’m confused at this moment I thought he just built a engine for the freedom rocket not that long ago and it was badass. And know he’s getting another already and the new build is going to have theLSX427 engine which is fucken awesome!
THEBESTCOMMENTATOR iirc (I might be wrong) that was really an LSA engine with some internals beefed up. This LSX 427 is fully built (forged bottom end, etc) so that it can handle more power/boost reliably.

Fasterproms Jeremy might buy the LSA......640hp ain't no punk especially N/A 570tq ain't no punk either but when you throw some boost to it whether it be TT or one big turbo or procharger it's going to make some steam especially after you put the car on a diet and get it down to 3k-3500 mark and over 1000hp she ought to run pretty good you should look at putting some optic armor glass in it I believe it will still pass inspection if need be cuz it's glass just light weight and I believe it's just as light as lexan

@@Bmackins94 Yep! Grandpa is a 1200HP C6, it's gonna be really tough to beat if Nick is putting down the same power since the C6 is notoriously light. Nick has a lot more seat time/experience though and I'm sure this build will blow the previous one out of the water, so I'm sure we can expect more HP than before. Should be a close race! Either with this or the twin turbo ZL1. Gotta give the edge to Nick overall. Really hope they do race though. Both on the strip and on the street!
