May be you should consider using a separate capacitor system to run the ignition off of. That would be lighter than a separate battery and wouldn't draw power from the engine like a heavy duty alternator would. You would turn on the capacitor system just before launch time.

Is the alternator getting a signal to charge? Most likely need the Holley harness for like 17 bucks. Changing the alternator wont do anything unless its shot.

You should totally take the freedom rocket and the TT ZL1 to like a parking lot and get some burner tires on the rear and have lauren do the TT ZL1 and you do the freedom rocket and just roast the tires for the 4th.... the FR roasts tires really well for some reason
I know guy that runs that time with the factory blower. Yeah the blower is modified twin turbos seem like over kill for the times you are running

Car could be breaking up and nosing over at the top of 3rd gear because of the 93 and timing. The load on a dyno and the track are different. Just changing the alternator isn't going to must likely fix the problem. Car needs to be tuned for the track at the track by reading data and reading plugs.
As far as how the car leaves. Pull some timing out on the hit or lower the launch rpm and or the car needs some anti squat and or loosen up the front end.
Car being on pumped gas with to much timing will cause it to nose on the big end. Dyno gets you a baseline but a car like this needs to be tuned at the track reading the data etc like I said before. I would pull plugs and see how it's burning. Most motors like this don't have a knock sensor like the factory motors. All it takes is one degree of timing to much and there goes a head gasket or worse. It was very smart to get off the throttle like you did the moment it noses over. Even then unfortunately it can be to late at times. I thought I seen fuild right before you got out off the gas but obviously impossible to know for sure looking at the video. After that first pass a few plugs should have been pulled just to check. You don't have the right people helping you if you weren't told that or did it. Sorry just being honest. Should never have made another pass with checking everything after having something like that happen. I highly doubt you have knock sensors in this motor but could be wrong. Built motors with solid mounts like this with the holley system you have don't in most cases. They tend to pull timing for other reasons other then detonation then pulling power when it shouldn't. Not that you can count on them to save you all the time anyway. Should start off mild and turn it up as you read time slips and data. Trusting a hot tune from a dyno is something you should never do. Michael Matarazzo we grew apart in our interests. It’s pretty clear what we’re into if you watch both channels.
What I think is funny is you get these guys that say their car is a "Factory Freak" and then you find out he was running in negative -2000 ft. DA conditions (cool air, low humidity, high pressure, low elevation). It makes a huge difference (can be .5 sec faster or more, even for a stock car in those conditions). My bolt on 5th Gen Camaro ran about .5 sec faster during the Winter here in Florida than the Summer. Engines love a low density altitude. They hate a high density altitude, especially NA engines. Love your car. Makes me really miss my 5th gen Camaro SS.
