Bought two of these for my Overhead Doors; Model: Python 2 to replace the original openers. I followed the instructions and had it programmed within a few minutes. This video really helped! So far I love these...and a great price as well. I will say, these are much smaller than you would think. Very good purchase and I would recommend to anyone with the same door as I have. Through Overhead Door, the original replacement was $49.00 each. I replaced both of my remotes and the total came to approximately $31.50 (which included shipping). They also showed up via USPS within two days from when I received the email confirming the shipment! This was two business days sooner than I expected. I highly recommend!

I followed instruction from another CZcams instructional video - no workie. I followed these instructions - workie! Also, some comments on this video state they are having poor range with this remote. I walked a house and a half away and it was still working. Thank you GateHouse Guys!
excellent, have old opener and remote and newer remote that came with the house. so after a few years the newer remote stopped working, changed battery and nothing. followed these instruction and working fine. outstanding info, thank you!!!!

Your system might be full, try to erase all codes by holding down the learn button for 10 seconds. Then repeat programming steps, make sure to only press and release not hold down when programming remotes.

I have the G1T-BX (one button remote), how do I increase the range on this remote? I literarily have to stand right up to the garage door to operate it. The range is pathetic. I'm curious if the G3T-BX has the same issues.
First step is to replace the battery then try to reprogram it. Check the antenna wire and make sure it is extended fully, make sure you are not using LED of CFL light bulbs in the opener or nearby. Do you have any other remotes that have better range? It could be a bad receiver board.
The GateHouse First thing i did was replace the battery. antenna was originally ran down the top part of the long metal arm that holds the threaded shaft, but now I relocated it to run away from any other wires and garage motor housing towards the garage door mounted on the garage ceiling. I also replaced CFL bulbs with outdated incandescent bulbs as you instructed. Now the remote can operate only half the distance of the driveway. So some improvement but still unacceptable. Nothing wrong with the receiver board. I do have other remotes that can operate much much farther. This is the only remote that has very weak signal.

James, Does this happen with all remotes or do you just have one? I would suggest erasing all codes by holding the learn button down. Then reprogram the remotes, if it happens again and to multiple remotes they most likely the doors receiver board is bad.

I hold mine for 10 secs then red led turns on but once I let go and push it 3 times it just green unlike in your video it’s red.
