How should you charge a client that wants you to run ppc for multiple Bars they own?
Can we actually see what assets did the Google use in the campaign? Or how can we evaluate the quality and impact of ACS at all?
Bottom line is Google wants your money and the more of your money it can take from you the better off it is. The more you let Google control your ad campaigns the more you lose and the more they win. Perfect examples of that are its constant recommendations to add huge lists of irrelevant and off-topic keywords. Also, even though you select search as the type of campaign you are creating, unless you disselect It, your ad will also show up in display format that are actually not a result of a search. Not to say that Google ads don't work. They do marginally work just at a very high price. At least still way better than waste of money Facebook ads.
I've tried Google PPC, and slowly went broke with that one. Now I'm trying Facebook, and I don't have a clue if this work either, but what's the alternative?
@@jrcxley it really depends on the area you are in and how much competition you have. We have a lot of competitors in our area and even when we have many Google Ads running at the same time - it makes it very difficult for us to "win" for top rotation and for searches to see our ads. I also have a suspicion that Google is using bots to click on our ads to make sure it is taking every dime from our daily budget. I mean what a scam system Google Ads is - there is no way for us to verify that REAL people searching for our services are clicking our ads. Just like the game hungry hippo although this is called hungry Google. Be careful with people here on CZcams because they're trying to sell something to you and in most cases are Google promoters.
so is there a way to experiment/test one campaign or ad group or ad with withOUT aca and one using aca?
I just bought the bootcamp a few weeks ago. Great stuff man
I can't see ACA option in Poland yet
Thanks for the info. Is it not also correct that using ACA can increase ad spend without conversions because it is showing ads to people searching for unrelated things, based on ACA's wrong interpretation of what they want and what I am advertising? Google's goal is to make money on ads, and this seems to increase their ability to get more clicks that are outside my target audience. I get the potential benefits also, but the additional ad spend is something to consider.
Excited
Thank you for the info, this was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Pmax does not work if you run brand search keyword campaigns simultaneously.
It does. I'm currently running this for clients.
I tried this with a campaign for my affiliate marketing website and google ended up creating several sitelink extensions that directed to other affiliate subdomain URLs. So for about a week I was directing traffic to other affiliates websites. Wasn't too happy about that.
Added google tag manger, google analytic ?
automatically created assets in google ads is good or bad?
Absolutely not. Google breaks its own rules in writing ad copy, too. Many ads are incomplete at creation. Then, the system turns around and wants updates in recommendations. AI and 'machine learning' are still very new. Left unchecked, Google's automated systems will chase the rabbit. AI right now is like declaring the Model T is the most amazing automobile in 2023. The system is not mature.
@@strange-universe Recommendations are there to train Google Ad managers to put all available marketing and advertising funding and time into Google Ads. (Our host even has a checklist to help manage it.) 'Recommendations' is always asking for more budget. If you decline, then it comes back in a week/month requesting more budget. When you decline, the account gets a 8-10% boost in the account's rating. Google Ads is important, but it should never be made your entire marketing plan. Google wants you to think otherwise.
Hard pass.
