Beautiful!
What a beautiful sound.
What a beast!
Very nice hello from Australia 🇦🇺
My dream is to one day build a classic bike with one of these in it.
magic
Le silencieux a pas mal chauffé durant l’essai !.........Belle musique , Très intéressant !
True British royalty.
King of all motorcycles.
I like the GOLD STAR, DBD'S
yair - in theory - except when a guy let me ride his Ducati Desmo 750 V-twin first, before we swapped and I got on his Rapide - the rattly juddery ride, transmission and slower acceleration of the Vincent would have literally left me in the dust - except we were on the only bitumen road in that small town ...
I would never have thought a Vincent would use Mikuni carbs……but hey…..I put one on my Norton.
the prices not bad considering the price of a original
What’s one of them worth??? ( I know I can’t afford it....... wife would kill me ) but I have some tubes bent for making a couple of slimline frames.
It would be nice.😊
What, the engine alone or a complete bike? There's a 1955 Black Knight Series D for sale on Craigslist here in CA for $86K, it's been on there for several months. Make him an offer! I can afford it but I don't have a garage to keep it in, and I'd prefer a Series C Black Shadow.
stunning , roughly what sort of money would such an engine cost ,,
Around £35K GBP
@@kinghamracing OMG ,,,, and then some ,,, but it really is a thing of great beauty.
35k And then yer still need all the other bits?
@@peterhughes4767 that's for the complete engine with all ancillaries.
@@kinghamracing by Ancillaries do you mean, Frame, forks, wheels and the rest of the bike?
If it was the first start up, then why was the muffler blue???
Because the engine is new but the exhaust is used..? The rest of the cycle parts were used too and just fitted to enable starting of the engine.
@@kinghamracing Gotcha. Thanks for your reply. Beautiful engine by the way.
I felt like Forrest Gump when he saw his son for the first time.
:-)
ARRRGh! Mikuni carbs on a Vincent. Sacrilege! LOL
And what kind of moral degenerate puts an electric starter on a Vincent? Is there no manliness in this world?
Phil irvings finest
It has electric starter or no?
This one does, yes.
Those carbys look so out of place.
Yes maybe, but they were specified by the customer, and they work really well.
Carby ?
@@stevemarshall5197 Carburetors.
Beautiful!
