- John Renwick fires up Vincent Altometheus on the dyno to check out the drive train before going to Pendine Sands for a record breaking attempt.
Eddie Wallbank, the plumber, is in attendance with the methanol.
I only now August 2024 came across this video, but honestly its Brilliant. I love the characters and what a beautiful build,

Magnificent machine with a classic engine heading for Pendine Sands an area filled with the ghosts of many speed records. Good luck
Think Russel wright and Bob Burns set a world sidecar record in New Zealand of 154 mph, later same day raised to 162 mph. On a streamlined machine. July 2nd 1955!. Also vincent powered. Wright also set new solo world record of 185 mph!
Full respect to a guy of his years going for a LSR attempt on what is basically 2 wheels, and Vincent power to boot!
First time this year I've seen exhaust bandages that weren't on some crappy custom just for show. Great video.

You know when it's Sunday morning an local boys get their motorbikes out without silencers on or race around without exhausts, these boys never grew up ha ha
You set a record? B.S.!! Dave Matson set several records back in the early 1980's over 200 mph on a single Vincent engine bike, not a streamliner just a fairing. Best one-way was 217 in 1986. Check the records.
