I really like these videos 😊. I get to ride "in the back" and see everything 😎
Glad you enjoy it! Really appreciate the feedback too
JY Square actually houses the Ebay Australia, and Ebay U.S. call center.. and the building next to it..
Good to know. Ty:)
I'm DONE with ebay. I just got scammed as a seller with NO recourse. Never again.
Believe you me, here in our country, when you hear of a place or location that has the word 'square' on it, you can be certain that it's not. 😅
lol that's funny. Thanks for watching and commenting.
It appears to be an enjoyable excursion. You will gain new knowledge. Furthermore, no one wears protective gear except for a helmet. I can comprehend it given the high dew points, but it does appear to be quite dangerous, particularly in that location.
I think it’s mostly due to the slow riding speeds as well as financial culture differences.
Mainly because the law is not enforced
Requires only driver's licence, vehicle registration, helmet and shoes...No need for extra protective suits.
Yes. People on bikes wearing shorts and tennis shoes give me the willies. We see it here in the states, too.
For the uninitiated, those leather jackets and big boots aren't fashion statements.
Our office is in Filinvest Cyberzone Cebu building. Hope to see you one day Chris
I know that area and I too hope our paths cross someday. Love meeting new folks:)
nice job.beautiful city.thanks for the ride.
Glad you enjoyed it
Agree, if you ride around in a local area, you will get used to knowing what sides of the road to travel on each street. You make ridin around look easy Chris! Be Safe...Jim
Thanks for the tips!
The motor has a nice sound.
I agree RE really did a great job with this bike
Traffic wasn't bad at all. It actually was moving 😆
True Kevin. I think most exaggerate the traffic and weather.
Great video. I love IT Park.
The best!
Great video Chris….. I appreciate seeing the lay of the land on a bike as I contemplate my move to the Philippines!
No problem
I believe JY thought it was more hip to be square than triangle.
lol right
Thanks Chris, you know how to handle a bike!
I try. Thanks for watching and commenting
Very cool the way you did that.
Thank you. Really appreciate it
Being a hub for business on Cebu, the one thing I noticed in your drive around is that it's not cram packed like in Manila, at least not yet 😊. Been to Ayala Mall but that was 13 yrs ago and I'm sure much has changed since then. We mostly visit the Pampanga region on Luzon because that's where my wife and her family are from.
Thanks for sharing
Good vid man im just now starting to look for an air b&b but need to find a condo preferably a penthouse soon
Nice. Safe travels. Hope you make it out soon
Stay Awesome. 👍🏼
Thanks, you too!
Thanks for the tour. Eighty-nine degrees (89°F) is fine by me. As much as I prefer the CBP area, I am gravitating towards Riala or perhaps, 38 Park in ITP as it's only a 4-minute - 0.16-mile walk to the Cebu Country Club accross the street. My golf gear is coming with me. It's all packed and ready to go. Yet another reason for me to opt for getting a car rather than a bike as I intend to play every golf course or any semblance of it along the way during slow-travel road trips. This X3 bike footage is a bit bouncy. It could trigger motion sickness or vertigo 😁. Was it on the rigid bike mount or on the floppy backpack mount? The GPS remote telemetry is very distracting. It is difficult to get immersed in the scene with it on full time. But that's just me.
The bike is a bit rigid as it’s more road biased. I’m thinking with my next bike that’ll be resolved. The information is only in my riding videos and I’m a fan. One of the challenges with riding videos I feel is keeping folks engaged. I like the data as a way to hopefully accomplish that. Regardless, thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you’re great there.
Hi Chris I am a new subscriber . I have watched some of your older video and enjoyed them. I am looking forward to your trip with Chad. One of the most important things I would like to know is how safe you feel traveling through Mindanao. I just moved from Dumaguete to the province of Capiz, Roxas City love it here. Thanks for the ride of IT park.
Great point Tom and think it’ll be something we’ll discuss as it’s on our radar.
Thanks for the sub and watching. Really appreciate it.
Cool video man, I've been enjoying your channel! What app or program do you use to get the video overlay of the directions and speed and info on the screen? Thanks 🤙
@islandvibrations5371 Been wonderin if I should email and ask him what editing app he is using or is it software that came with the camera?
A couple of things about that. One I use the Insta360 GPS remote, which brings in the stats that you’re seeing. There’s also a video early on that’s titled. How did you film that. Check that out for the rest of my equipment.
How did you mount your stick on your bike like that? Did you get all your camera equipment in the US or PI?
I bought most of my equipment in the US but using the new 360 moto mount
Chris - my fav Who album is “Face Dances”…yeah it’s not as popular as the others…but best enjoyed while on a motorcycle excursion! Heard of it? 😃
Lol nice and yes. Was just looking at the album, You Better You Bet:)
Do a video in the Nustar Hotel and Casino so people can see some the nice exclusive places in Cebu 😊
Noted!
Hi Chris, no way I can drive a bike in the Philippines. It's like free for all traffic. Lol Are you in Cebu?
I am but right now I'm traveling around Leyte
Chris does it feel odd to have a box only on one side?
Yeah. My OCD would like two:)
Hey Chris just be carefull those mini bus drivers ... mga sabahis na mo drive. :)
Thank you sir
Hello 👋
Good morning!
Zoom zoom
Yes yes:)
wear light color shirts in Hot Sun ? 😎🥵
More than color the material is critical
@@CarefreeChris Please explain, you mean like ventilated jackets? Which kind of jacket do you like to wear?
Almost run over...clickbait
The bus at the end which is also in the TN was close. Watch it again and you’ll see 🤪
@mikes352 lol Chris got me to click too...
@@jsully4064 dude that bus was close for western standards. It did happen in the video so it’s not click bait:)
@@CarefreeChris sorry not razzin ya, belive you that it was close, you would have made a nice truck sandwich...lol
Lol right:)
I’ll take your Cebu traffic, over Metro Manila’s any day! BGC/Makati, and downtown Manila are similar. But go east of there, on EDSA, Marcos hwy, Ortigas Ext, and Felix blvd., those are NUTS! 😲
I call those areas the ‘belly of the beast’! And those are the roads I’m exposed to, every day 🥵
But only for 6 more months, until the lease on my condo expires. Then I’ll be getting out of the Metro area, and into better traffic.🤞
Nice Jerry. Ride safe there brother
It looks like a peaceful city. Where is that 3rd world madness of traffic and air pollution and people ? It seems like a sleepy large city. Is this how it normally is?
Yeah. That's it. Middle of the week ride around town. If you're use to city living, this one is no different really as far as traffic.
