Koala doesn’t have individual tempos per track. KO-133 and the sp404mk2 only have individual tempos group or project. With Elektron (Digitakt 1) has individual tempos per pattern but only 2 effects.The digitakt 2 only has 3 but they are only sends not insert. And neither have a proper slice mode with adjustable start points. Not to mention all of the hardware I've mentioned with the exception of the KO-133 cost more.
but what you get with the Lofi-12 XT, the extra $100 is worth it over the EP-133...it just does more. the unit with the most consistent updates will win out....but XT is so far ahead already out of the gate.

Someone else uses RENOISE !! I’m not alone then :-) ELO Time - What an album !! “Just on the border of your waking mind” that vocoder - blew my mind as did (and still does) the whole album. Also - prob been asked many times before - I don’t always get to catch the live stream, have you considered releasing the audio version as a Podcast ? Just a thought.
We've considered releasing an audio version of the show but as we use quite a lot of visuals, we're not entirely sure if it would work well. Something for us to continue to consider though 🙂
