All pigeon poses are backbends. You just taught a preparatory pose for Eka Pada Rajakapotasana. Kapotasana is a deep symmetrical backbend.
Hello Sir,
In this knee and ankle should be in one line.

Thank you for these videos, Sandeep. I am finding your tips helpful for my practice. I wonder if you could answer a question. The instructions in my book by BKS Iyengar always tell me to move towards the right side first in.for example, the triangle pose and other asymmetrical poses. Why does it matter which side is first?
Namaste Bryan Roland ji
Most of the people are Right handed. It is very natural and also becomes very easy to move in that direction first. That may be one of the main reason why right side comes first.
Thank you for watching our videos.
Take care and God Bless.
Is gomukhasana good for Bursitis of the hip or should it be avoided?
Is it ok to fold forward and rest your head on the mat?
I have a couple of questions,
1. To get full benefit from pranayama how many times I need to do it
2.How long should I hold each asana ?
3. Should I get up every time I move from one asana to another Say if iam doing bhujangasana and next dhanurasana do I need to get up after bhujangasana?
4.Can I start with pranayama first and then do suryanamaskar ,followed by other asanas or suryanamaskar needs to be done in the end?
5.Which asanas should be ideally done at the end?
NAMASTE SIR,THANK YOU FOR YOUR ALL VIDEOS ON YOGA. CAN I REQUEST YOU SIR TO MAKE A VIDEO ON 'PARIVRITTA ANJANEYASANA' ?
THANK YOU
🙏🙏🙏
Namaste Pramath Pathak ji.

Would really love to see a video on the lion breathing pose simhasana
Hyt
I liked the 2 pigeon pose videos I watched. They were well done. Nicely paced. Explained well and coached what to do as well as what not to do...and why. Very good. I think there is no need to look at the camera while doing the poses. Just do the pose and explain as you already do. Everytime you look at the camera the pose is being interrupted. You could simply look at camera at the beginning g, the introduction, and the end of each video. Thanks for listening.

please change white wide T-shirt to black tight T-shirt because the wall is white like T-shirt
Hi, Iam a beginner and would like to know how long I should hold each asanas. Also please let me know in what sequence we need to do asanas.
Namaste Ravishankar Rajamony ji
If you are a beginner then you should do every asana twice, with holding the posture for 3 breaths. Once you become comfortable, then you can increase the number of breaths and do asana only once.
We are preparing a play lift of sequence of asana.
Will share it soon.
Thank you for watching our videos.
Take care and God Bless.

Hi Sandeepji , many thanks for your efforts , I have been following all your videos and like them , in general I have two questions 1. How to engage the core ? Should we tighten the pelvic area by pulling in the anal ? 2. How to square the hips ?
Namaste Santosh Kumar ji.
Thank you for watching our videos.
Answer to your queries are as follows:
1 - when you tuck the tail bone in, the core gets engaged. It is like bringing the pelvis to nutral position. It is like the lower abdomen going little up and in.
Also watch our video of Tadasana to know more about the pelvis.
2 - in this position the front leg hip is in front and the behind leg hip is back. We have to move the front hip little behind and behind hip in front so that both the hips can come in same line. This is called as squaring of hips.
I hope that you will understand.
If you still have queries, do write to us.
Thank you for watching our videos.
Take care and God bless
Namaste sandeepji ... I followed your instructions it was helpful , Thanks a lot
