- In this video you see the complete procedure of the first service on the Yamaha Tracer 9. As I plan to do also some longer trips you see also the suspension adjustment (preload only). It goes like this:
- change of oil and oil filter
- checking, adjusting and lubricating the chain
- checking and lubricating all screws
- connection to a computer and diagnostics
- suspension adjustment (preload only)

Oprosti, ampak verigo se špona, ko je motor na tleh. Ker se od lastne teže že malo posede in se veriga napne. To mi je enkrat naredil eden na servisu
Imaš popolnoma prav Uroš. Vsakič bi se moral vsest in preverit. Sicer pa gre na servisu tudi serviser sam preverit. Zapelje se en krog. Tudi v mojem primeru je šel. Hvala za komentar na mestu.

It feels stiffer. I would say that is a bit more appropriate for the sportier ride. I plan to do some touring and that is why I decided to do ti. Thanks for watching Jody. Much appreciated.

The chain was a little loose. I’ll have to adjust mine soon. Did you switch to synthetic oil?
Yes, it was. The guy there told me that this is normal as all the Tracer 9 models have it like this. When reaching the 1000 km milestone they tighten it properly. They put Yamalube inside, just as it is stated in the manual. How many km do you have now with your chain? It is the first one?

@@RRRRefuelRideRace it feels really good. With proper cleaning, I expect it to last about 50,000 kilometres.

How much you pay for the service?
It was 129 EUR if I remember it correctly. :)
That didn't seem to take long to get to 1000 kilometers!
