- Melbourne Australia is an incredible destination for travelers, foodies and nature seekers SO I wanted to make a travel guide for it. From the vibrance of the downtown CBD to the picturesque Great Ocean Road, there is something for everyone here.
Thank you to Air Canada and Visit Victoria for making this possible!

I feel like it’s MELBOURNE people just watching this hahaha
Always
Definitely
True,mate
Yep, I’m from Melbourne none of this is new 🤣
Melbournians
It’s not ironic that it’s winter in Australia when it is summer in North America. It’s just science.
MrEvanDavidson thank you I get so frustrated when Americans are so shocked and surprised that Australia has the opposite season to them
Most Americans struggle to grasp the concept of Northern and Southern hemispheres.
Michael Evans I mean that’s why they have flat earthers lol
some seem confused about Vancouver being American
robert bertie I was using the term generically for North Americans. Canucks are just as bad
You ate the pies upside down
Kay Jay without tomato sauce
Tried to pretend I didn't see this happen, but I just couldn't😲
Please turn them around next time and put some tomato sauce on there 😁
I couldn't help laughing when I saw him at the MCG holding the pie upside down.
I cringed too
I almost lost it when they drank coffee upside down.
As a melburnian, this vlog made me really happy. great job on showcasing most of the places even the under rated ones!
I live in Melbourne and I can confirm it's amazing.
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
Fun fact on Melbourne mate. It's the second largest Greek speaking city in the world other then Athens!
Now that's a fun fact.
Excellent re
Go out to springvale
Anonymous 1 ahhahaha
LEANEED efcharisto para poly! Re
Coming from a local, this was such an incredible representation of Melbourne!
Amazing video guys.
I loved this ! Thanks for capturing my home city and producing 16 minutes of great content 👌🏾💫
Wouldn't say that the southern hemisphere having opposite seasons to the north is ironic. Its simply a fact.
I loved this so so much! It’s so interesting to see Melbourne through the eyes of a traveller, and even though I live here you have inspired me to explore more of this beautiful city ❤️ thank you for sharing Melbourne with the world, this video is incredible ❤️
Well if a local likes the video than I feel like maybe I've done my job :)
Thanks Jasmine!
I just uploaded a sick switzerland travel video! check it out if you would like, you will love it:)
yeah being Australian and listening to them trying to do aussie things is so cool
Makes us want to head here on our next trip. Couldn't agree more!
We really need to go there. Best city in Australia?
Man, Melbourne looks beautiful. Definitely will be visited on my next big trip. Thanks for the info!
Loved this vid! I've never been to Australia and Melbourne is calling. Thanks for your stupendous review.
I love that city! Such a cool vibe 👌🏽 Sports, wildlife, art, landscapes. It's got it all in such a close proximity! Congrats on the Air Canada collab, that's huge 🤙🏽
Appreciate it man. Lets catch up
So keen for that
Peta Wright I would love to come that way! One day =)
I just uploaded a sick switzerland travel video! check it out if you would like, you will love it:)
This is so cool to watch this through your eyes! Living in Melbourne myself I feel like I take it all for granted! Awesome video! :)
You’re friend from Lizard Island told me about this channel while I was there! I was just in Melbourne about 2 weeks ago, and I loved it!! I especially loved the penguin parade on Phillip Island!!
It’s so interesting learning about my home from a tourists point of view!
Hearing “downtown Melbourne” to describe the cbd was interesting.
i just returned from the US for the third time and it still baffles me that they call the cbd "downtown" haha
Ikr we are so used to cbd that downtown sounds weird hhhhh
As someone born and bred in Melbourne, I have entertained many family from international countries. Can confirm this is a fantastic itinerary! Great video!
You missed a couple locations in the cbd: eureka sky deck - tallest building with a viewing platform and if you dare a glass floor.
Bourke street mall - main mall with many shops, in Christmas season this is a must, Myer do a kids story through the Christmas windows which is incredibly intricate and detailed
Crown casino- in the evenings every hour all the pillars out the front have a large fire show. This area, “Southbank” is also a great walk with great restaurants.
Queen Victoria markets- open only some days so check this out first, but it’s a great collection of trinkets to food to clothing, will take a few hours.
A great day trip is to Healesville sanctuary, just like your kangaroo adventure this could possibly be as good but also expose you to other native wildlife.
... also it is quite funny that you ate the pie upside down:)
Happy travelling!
I love seeing my beautiful city being explored by eager travellers! ❤️😇
Hey Mate, great video of my home town. Keep them coming as I really enjoy all your adventures and the way you put them all together.
As someone who lives in Melbourne it’s nice to see all the things I get to see everyday through your lens. You’ve just scratched the surface of amazing things to see 😍😍
Looks amazing :) Thanks for showing us Melbourne!
WOO, Welcome to AUS!! Should have come in September for Vidcon 😁 Hope you enjoyed your time here through!!
I was there during the winter also. Nice vid! One of the best places I've been! Definitely lookin forward to goin back.
Yay! Melbourne! My home! Loved this video, thank you for making it! :)
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Love your editing, bro! This is pretty much the only travel based channel I really follow and always love the vids! Canadian crew! Cheers!
THANK YOU :)
Lost LeBlanc not a prob, man! I'm always impressed with your editing skills. Anyone who has the means to checkout your editing tutorial definitely should!
I’m from Melbourne and for anyone who wants to travel here or anywhere in Australia I highly recommend checking out places outside of the CBD. I always see people going straight to the city but some of the most amazing places are found in the outer suburbs and into the country. I live near the Yarra valley so that was so good seeing You guys explore outside of the CBD.
That's great info! Thanks
Cried watching this. Miss my city so
Much.
love this video LeBlanc , australia is always amazing
We’re planning on moving there next year and this was so useful to see where we should go once we land! Thanks for the great vlog 🌻💕
Traveling Herbivores yesss come it is amazing
We would love to have you become our neighbour
Loved this one mate, coming from an Aussie, you did a great job of showcasing Melbourne
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
I live in Melbourne but its always good finding new things to do
I had a school camp for 4 weeks at Great Ocean Road. We mountain bike ride, hike and surfed. Beautiful.
How to Travel Melbourne - don't come in Winter 😂😂
Fraser Wilson omg lol so true
at least it never goes below zero , and has half the rain of Sydney, I'm 55 and have never seen snow
It's Cold, Its winter, so what? think you'll find most cities around the world are cold in winter. Great opportunity to hit the ski slopes, find a nice bar for a drink or go to a nice restaurant with a fire for a meal. i don't get it???? i really does not rain much in winter. Less than most cities around The country and you don't have to worry about the crowds as much....
Contrary to the anti-Australians belief, Melbourne is not the capital of Antarctica.
Lmao weather is shit and weird all year round.
Gotta visit the Grampians, Victoria. You’ll get some of the best drone shots, especially for sunrise and sunset
Max Simovic Lmfaoo the past for the Grampians is so fucked up tho
Taylan Kilic have you seen the sunsets there bro. You’re fucked mate
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
I really enjoyed this video! Great footage and so informative!
I'm 15 and born and raised in Melbourne. The Dandenong Ranges (between the Yarra Valley and the City) is just a beautiful place for tourists and people lucky enough to live in it.
It definitely should be high up in the places to visit.
AFL is massive and if the season is on you *Have* to go. Make sure you put on black and white colours for it.
Although it doesn't snow pretty much anywhere apart from the high country, it still can get bittery cold during winter. Summer on the other hand we will get what would be called 'heat waves' by others pretty regularly.
"This is the 3rd time he filmed this" just had me cracking! You guys are adorable ❤
Amazing vlog as always.. but it’s making me miss Australia a lot.. i was there last year and it was INCREDIBLE!!!!
Thank you!!!
Lost LeBlanc you’re welcome 😊
Your best video yet! Loved it. I moved from Melbourne to Brisbane 1 and a half years ago. But really do love it there. You captured it perfectly.
Spend a day in the Morinington Peninsula about an hour and a half outside of Melbourne.... beautiful beaches, food and people. I was lucky enough to live there, highly recommended 🙂
You guys make Melbourne look so beautiful than it already is! I live in Melbourne btw haha 💕💕
I just uploaded a sick switzerland travel video! check it out if you would like, you will love it:)
Thanks Hayley! :)
Melbourne represent
Canada to Australia on a direct flight!! Wow from north to south of the earth :)
Pretty crazy hey
i did it a couple weeks ago, going was fine, coming back to Vancouver was awful, so much jetlag, loved Melbourne though
Its pretty amazing that we can now do perth-London
I've flown direct return from Melbourne to Vancouver on AirCanada in 2015.. It's an 18hr one way flight.... Luckily I picked up some sleeping tablets for my midnight return flight and conked myself out in economy ahahah
Australia doesn't exist
Definitely one thing that's worth checking out in Melbourne are the penguins on Phillip island.
Plus that rainforest you drove through on the great ocean road is one of only two temperate rainforests in the world from memory.
I loved this! I live in Melbourne and you've really inspired me to get out and see the best that this beautiful part of the world has to offer
Next time get Telstra (sim cards) 😄 especially if you go into the outback you have way better reception!
I love that you did Melbourne instead of Sydney. Mainly because I lived there for six months. :P And I actually reached out to the Melbourne tourism board to get sponsored for a video but they never got back to me. xD You hit a lot of the good spots! I did The Great Ocean Road in one day, but I definitely recommend two as well, since it's about 4 hours each way. Better to chill and soak it in more. St Kilda is pretty dope. That's where most the travelers live. Cheaper than Fitzroy but still decently spendy since it's Australia. Walking around the CBD is a blast. There's the river walk that's super cool at night with street performs and artists, and outside the casino there are large pillars that spew fire into the air! Was excited to watch this one and definitely enjoyed it Christian! Looking forward to the next time you visit Melbs!
Maybe you lacked even more talent LOL.
Great content and thanks for touring us! Excited to visit Melbourne because of this video! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ooo this came up in my suggestions! Welcome to Melbourne 💖💖💖🙏
Great winter showcase of Melbourne ! If you live in Bali you should definitely do the short flight to Darwin for a totally contrasting version of Australia. Get down to Kakadu, experience crocs, indeginous culture and art. I think you would like it.
I’d love to. Maybe that will be my next video ;)
Never heard of Aussie football before. Looks pretty cool though! Great video 👌
Jp Vlogs we call it AFL ... Australian Rules Football - we grow up playin this in winter and cricket in summer .... btw we call home Straya! Peace
We don't call it STRAYA. At least the people who can talk as well as I could when I was three years old don't.
Aw we are going on 4 months and are so excited!! 💓
Thank you so much! I enjoy watching your video!
5:56 ha lol, I do soccer training just to the right of the car
it’s so weird bc everywhere they go is just like a normal day out and where i live lol
Lmao might come to school here any tips?
Awesome video! I live in the UK but spent 2013 living in Melbourne. I love the cinematography and you gave the whole film a tidy narrative! You really captured the atmosphere of Melbourne! Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Melbourne man what a wonderful place. 24hr shopping/AFL/ Great ocean road/ Chinatown it has it all. when im older I will definitely visiting Melbourne. I live in perth so it should take about 5hrs. Melbourne is a wonderful place and its breathtaking.
Fantastic video!! You definitely need to fly back down there and do more Australia guides, I’m moving to Melbourne next year and there is no travel advice I trust more than yours lol, we have very similar travel interests.
Stoked to hear that man. Hope the guide is a good starting point for you
i am in canada
I live in Melbourne, Australia so hit me up ahahah This dude just did some of the typical touristy stuff in Melbourne.... Ask a local!!
ALIVIAlive I’d love to make a few friends and find out where the locals go :) let’s connect on IG, @valentinventures I’ll be moving out there in a few months time if all goes well!
“I’ve been here in the CBD for 3 hours and no kangaroos.” Duh
Lol
Lol 😂😂
If they were there it would almost always get run over by a tran
I'm so lucky that I live here!! I live on the Mornington Peninsula. It's the most beautiful stretch of coastline around 1 hour south of Melbourne. You can catch a train down there. But it was so amazing watching this even though I'm from here. I hope you guys had a lovely time.
i love this so much..great tips as im travelling to melbourne end of this month.
Watching them eat the pies upside down hurts my soul..
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
@@simonlinatravelingtheworld851 No one cares.
Daylsford Hot Mineral Spa region, and Red Hill Winery in Mornington.
Amazing video, I am a local and you have captured the city so spectacularly. Keep up the great work!!
So interesting seeing the perspective of a traveller after living here my whole life!
I'm from Indonesia and I'm watching it😂 I love Australia!
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
Katy's style lately is gorgeous! x
she's killin it
Lost LeBlanc on point!
I live in Geelong (100kms from Melbourne) and I just wanted to state the the great ocean road is incredible, but the more amazing thing about it is how it was made.. how young men used pick axes to cut out mountains and how many men lost their lives during the construction. You really appreciate the beauty of it so much more when you travel it...
Such a great video! Come back during the summer!
One of the Best videos
My two favourite lines from this video:
"If you don't like the weather here in Melbourne, wait five minutes" 😂
"If you're a kangaroos fan it's always good to come with an excuse" 😂
Great video guys!
He got the quote wrong!! Its "Four seasons in one day""
They're awesome right? Adventure seekers like them inspired us to travel and film around Australia too! 💖💖💖💖
Amazing vlog as always!! I love the street art 😍😍😍
Healesville, Hepburn springs and the Mornington Peninsula are all great places to go for waterfalls and rainforests, natural springs and beaches!
Summer in Melbourne and Australia in general is actually quite hot. Just giving you a heads up!
Ohhh 😍 todo muy bonito los amos....🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨
Melbourne also has many events on throughout the year, good to check before travelling, like F1's, comedy festival, Melbourne show, Moomba, film festival, summer/winter night markets, theatre/broadway shows and more. Also if you like shopping, there are many malls throughout the city as well as a shopping center (Chadstone) the size of a small city 20 mins out of Melbourne CBD. And in summer, great to spend a day or 2 going to the Mornington Peninsula (up to 2hrs drive from CBD) with great beaches, walking trails, beach carnivals and a ferry across the bay.
Nice video man! Keep up the good work!
Melbourne standard 4 seasons in 1 day 😂 glad you enjoyed our city! 😊
I saw it first hand ☀️ 🌧 ❄️
I spent 20 years in the navy, everywhere I've been has four seasons in one day. Don't get conned by those narcissist spoon fed staters. Syckley has four seasons in one day too. They are just too stupid to see it and too hypocritical to admit it.
@Stez They won't be freezing in the middle of summer when the 'capital of Antarctica' hits 40 degrees. If you hate it so much your going to whinge about it go back to Africa.
The Syckleyites conned you into believing Melbourne is the only place that happens have they? Well as the saying goes, if you tell people the same bullshit often enough, they will eventually believe you. Regardless of how pathetic it is. The last time I was in Queersland I was happily pointing out the fact they were having four seasons in one day, as it was happening. They didn't enjoy feeling like a bunch of hypocrites very much.
Piss back there then. They won't be when it hits 40 in summer.
Wow amazing video on Victoria! A showcase of all the great things to do an see! You ive inspired me to do my own travel video on my channel of a place called launceston, which is just south of Melbourne on the island of Tasmania 🇦🇺 thank you so much💙
Thank you :) You definitely should!
Lost LeBlanc i made it afew weeks ago -
THINGS TO SEE IN LAUNCESTON TASMANIA FOR FREE - TRAVEL GUIDE - VLOG #2 czcams.com/video/uyY2KC9Q_Mg/video.html
Thanks for all your help/tips and inspiration! You should totally come to Tasmania! Its a mix of Canada 🇨🇦 New Zealand 🇳🇿 and Australia 🇦🇺 all mixed together!💪
Melbourne is beautiful. Hope to visit the place someday.
Some beautiful footage of Melbourne!
What can I say?.......Well done mate. You did an amazing job of showcasing Melbourne and what it has to offer. It makes me proud to live here and call it home. Melbourne is not just Koalas and Kangaroos like many tourist believe. It's an amazing place and I thank you for showing the world of CZcams what we have to offer. If only you had more time........ Thanks mate.....
Thank you!! Truly appreciate that
for real i thought australia waa all about kangaroos and koalas
@@danielmorgan3590 It is, its the only thing that makes this country unique. Comfortable place to live, but boring and cultureless.
@@SmellsLikeNirvanna really? boring? cultureless?
Daniel Morgan Australia has no culture lol, maybe not entirely boring if you choose to do things.
Good choice, anywhere else outside of Melbourne has too many drop-bears 😊
CUMULUS was a dream! amazing video... Great work guys. xoxox
I'll see you in Bali soon
Love this! I live in Melbourne and it's so interesting seeing Melbourne through the eyes of someone not from here. Amazing video, thank you for sharing this beautiful city.
Kathy Jadex helo
One part of Melbourne you missed is the mornington peninsula!! Amazing beaches, coffee, home of the peninsula hot springs, antiques and some incredible scenery. Put it on your bucket list!
If you come back to Melbourne in the spring or summer. Head south east along the coast to Wilson’s promontory national park and climb mount Oberon, Amazing views from the top
Samuel S lol in what universe would tourists give a shit about wilsons prom it’s so fucking boring
Our spring in Melbourne is horrible and windy come in feb or March there our sunniest months
Ever been scuba diving there? I didn't think so. Perhaps in the universe of the scuba diver or a paraglider, hang glider or microlight pilot. Not everyone wants to sit around twiddling their thumbs.
Nice review 👍🏼 Jus been to Melbourne in Jul and it was really fantastic. Especially the view of 12 Apostles. Queen Vic Mkt and Cafes over there were great too! A memorable trip indeed 😊
What a BEAUTIFUL city!!! It reminds me of Portland, OR USA. Except a lot bigger. I'm blown away. Thanks for sharing!
I'm going to Melbourne next week
Melbourne was fucking fun
Glad u had fun 😊
Great video, we Can't wait to visit there. Keep up the great work bro you're an inspiration to all up and coming creators!
Glad to see you go to an AFL game! I live in Adelaide but Melbourne is incredible, I love going.

Dream Country ❤️

That was awesome! Loved seeing our home state after travelling in a Van for so long. Just a shame you didn’t have more time & yes the coast is epic during summer / but soooo busy
Great video of beautiful Melbourne...topped off with Magpies winning!! Big Like
Bro Melbourne is the best. I live there . I wish I could of saw u there tho. Love u
My Melbourne 😍😍😍😍😍
So much more to see here in Melbourne .. yes come in summer just beware it can get extremely hot here. If you visit any beaches try Torquay or Rye. Opposite ends of each other and beautiful in their own ways.
