A simple way to visualize triads on guitar

- Here is the first way I would look at approaching triads on the fretboard so that you can visualize the idea of chords being able to have multiple forms (inversions) up and down the neck. In this video, I only covered how to find inversions of these triads in a "vertical approach" on adjacent string sets. There is much more to this topic as this just scratches the surface of the possibilities triads can have on your understanding of unlocking the geometry of the fretboard. If you found this helpful, give this video a like and comment. Don't forget to subscribe!

I’m legitimately impressed with how clear and concise you explain things on the guitar. Please keep making these; they’re fucking awesome!
You have a gift for simplifying a seemingly confusing topic. Thank you very much for the lesson.
Yep, I'm turning on the bell for this guy. I learn something with every video he puts out. Good stuff, man!!
Thank you for your videos!
I like how your teaching,im learning stuff ive never seen before on youtube
Incredible man. Thank you. This helps a ton. I've been playing for 20 years and stagnated after my 5th year or so. I can move around and play easily but it's aimless.
Triads, harmonic melody, chord progressions (and playing over key changes) and making my playing sound more like music as opposed to a bland Trey Anastasio.
Thanks you are very helpful i always like your approach
Please make more videos like this. I came across your channel in a shorts video and the way you explain things just make sense. I think it's worth mentioning i'm not even a native english speaker and that's the most clear explanation i've seen so far. Congrats, you are a great teacher! Again, please keep making these.
Cool I remember that video. Was a short. Glad you expanded on it.
Once again..cheers Matt🙏🎸
Love your work, Matt! Always concise. Looking forward to your next video!
Great production. Thank you!
That's brilliant. Never seen anyone break it down that way.
LOVE YOUR STUFF!
Thanks for the video man! You're an awesome teacher 🥰
Great vid, thanks Matt!!
More please!
Thanks for all your videos! Really hope you keep making longer videos, the shorts are great but so limited due to time.
Keep it up man! 🤘😈🤘
Great job man so to make a major a minor we just flatten the 3rd
Great vid brother, keep it up.

Also - what pedals are you using to achieve this beautiful tone? Is it reverb? Can hear some sustain but doesn’t sound like a big muff or anything. Is it reverb or compressor or something??
Would you consider giving any private lessons?
Hi there! Yes I give private lessons. If you go to my website you can apply to work with me there. 😁🤘

Mate please can you make the above videos as normal ones not shorts as I can’t ‘cast’ shorts to my TV.. you could combine say 3 or 4 in one normal video like this one which is on my TV as I write this.. the above ones are things I NEED to learn, please brother 🔥🔥🔥
Is there a video of you playing a song Matt? (Not a smart-ass question btw...)
in order to do this.....would it be best to know all of the notes on the fretboard first? (before attempting to learn triads)
Please make a video on how to make clean bends without having next top string sound together with target string. Bending finger automatically press top string to the fret when reach it under bend..
I have this problem doing whole step bends too
What model Ibanez is that?
Where do you go once you get to the low e string? Just find another c note somewhere else?
Just hop to the high e string (so it kinda looks like a g chord, you know, the cowboy chord)

Good information, not the best tone selection..
