Thanks for sharing this amazing car! Can’t afford it yet, but I do respect it as the de facto industry standard setter when it comes to comfort and tech 👍 wish you and your family all the best!
I bought a 2022, S580 a few ago in Emerald Green. I have a Ferrari and a few other cars, I even owned a Ghost. Nothing compares to this. His right. It's the lion of the road.
@@twotonepatek You AUTOMATICALLY BELIEVE THAT coming from a total stranger on the internet who might not even be a real person⁉️. Could very well have come from a bot or troll, Dude!
Have you sat in a Bentley before? I still think a Flying Spur is surely more comfortable to drive and also it looks better as well, not the forget the king of luxury still hold on by Rolls Royce
@@seansiew5629 well they better be even better for another $100k plus more money. RR even more money. They all make amazing buys second or third hand though, esp the Bentleys.
@@seansiew5629 Yes, I sat in both the Flying Spur and the S580, the S580 was definitely more spacious in both front and back especially if you are a bigger guy. The front seats in the S580 are an engineering marvel and can fit anyone from 4'9" to 7'3". The Flying Spur is very beautiful and opulent while the S580 is more conservative and business like. I did not drive them and I'm sure the Flying Spur is faster and sportier especially with the W12. I've heard they're both super comfortable to drive, Bentley may have the edge. The Flying Spur is based on a Panamera platform and simply cannot have the same interior volume as the S580. You can't go wrong with either the Bentley or the S580, they're both awesome cars. You may consider buying both the S580 and the Flying Spur and use the S580 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the Bentley on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (Buy a Ferrari or Porsche for Sunday). If you want something very roomy and cheaper than the Bentley but extremely powerful, wait for the new AMG S63, that should be a monster.

It’s something. Makes you question getting an EV over it I’ll tell you that. This car’s ability to cover great distances in comfort gives it a real edge over our EVs.
This is as good as it gets for a 100k plus car. You buy this car and you take a course to learn all it's features. And then you move into the car because it is nicer than your house.

Still debating on the styling of this generation of S580. I am trying to hold out for the redesign in a few years but don't want to miss out on the V8 option. I hear new things are coming in the next couple of years, or so, for the S-Class, so I'm watching closely.
5-year depreciation averages 46% with 12k miles per year (60k miles after 5 years), 20k below your window. Sales volumes are low, and I believe the majority are leased. Those 3-year-old cars are resold as CPO cars that will have 1 year of original warranty and 14-20k miles left. If you're gonna own one of these, I'd 100% get the extended warranty and ensure that the known major generational failures have precedents established for coverage.
I've watched a lot of S Class videos, this has to be my favorite one, I'm looking to invest in a 2024 model, I say invest because it's a lot to lay out, I may lease because these cars don't retain their value like say a Ferrari does but great review 😊
So I can absolutely relate to the 11+ Mercedes Benz thing as I've just turned 22 and I'm on my 3rd Mercedes Benz so far in my life and a drivers permit and it is currently a NEW $285,620 preorderd 2023 Maybach S 680 V12 and my parents have both each had around 15 brand new Mercedes Benz so that is a total of 32 NEW freaking cars in the last 15 to 20 years AT LEAST we got into crashes in 2 of them but we still have all remaining 30 of them on top of that we have bought around 10 used Audi's and 10 or more BMW's as well. Overall that seems to be a total of 45 or more cars in 20 ish years. (and yes we have lost count) 😂. Fun fact: "Most" people only own 9 or 10 cars thru-out their entire lives.
The major issue with this car is the brake lockups sometimes when parking. You have to press harder on the gas pedal to be able to move the car. If you parked the car in parallel, good luck.
Excellent video. And cheers to Gabriel. Incredible car. Yes, this S-Class uses the same mild hybrid system as the GLS 450. And yes, Tesla's "autopilot" is one of the biggest scams in the automotive industry, and for several reasons.
Which model did you get and does it come with the pillow on head rest.? Also I noticed some don’t have ambient light around rear seats what option should I order?
I have one, but in black/black with walnut trim. I would prefer a stronger electric motor in the car, so that i could turn off the engine in traffic stop and go.
I got a lot of the same specs at this one but the executive package with 10 degree rear steer as well as the e active body control which I belive this one didn't have. It may roll into corners better than this but idk. All I know is I love the car. Thing is sick.

That’s called the brake hold feature and you can turn it off in the settings. It’s designed to allow the driver to not need to hold the brake during extended stopping sequences such as traffic jams
Happens on all cars with Auto Hold, especially when the person behind the wheel didn’t care enough to read the manual or at least acknowledge that it’s a feature used while driving that the user should disable when parking. So the “major issue” is actually the person behind the wheel 👍
