- It’s hard to imagine a sneaker more iconic than the Air Jordan. Today, retro Jordans of all types and colors sell out instantly on Nike’s SNKRS app and in stores across the country. In May 2020 a pair of original Jordan 1s that Michael Jordan wore on the court sold for $560,000 at auction.
Jordan the brand has mastered the art of weaving nostalgia into current trends through hyped-up collaborations with fashion designers and artists like Travis Scott. Here’s how the brand built a diehard following, on its way to becoming a $3.6B empire.

After watching it I watched the AIR movie and all documentary of Jordan available on CZcams, then watched his Gameplays and now I am completely in love with that Man, the NBA culture and what this all stands for. I already have purchased 10 pairs of Jordans in last 1 year and I'll keep buying more😁❤

Great video. I'm a fan of nightwing2303's channel and I'm happy to see that he was featured in this video. I used to be a big sneakerhead when I was in my teens, not so much as I've gotten older (realized I don't need that many shoes!). I still have a small collection of favorites that I wear. It's a fun and addictive hobby and I still keep tabs on what's going on in the industry.

Just saw the first screening today of _Air,_ the Michael Jordan & Nike story. Excellent movie; best one I've seen in 2023 since _Avatar: The Way of Water,_ and this is my 12th so far!

The sneaker game has become the hoarder game. From CZcams to the Nike feed it's about what you got. Videos showing how may sneakers in your collection, like collecting art. The resale market created is a whole different animal. Whats more amazing is, this is 35 yr old bubble with no end in sight, Nike could pop it by releasing more kicks BUT that never going to happen. It creates a desire to cop, the new high is hitting on a draw.
If LeBron could create this same energy/intensity and sales then he can claim GOAT.

The good thing is, if you work hard enough in life, eventually you'll be gifted with these.
