- In today's video I will diagnose the fuel delivery system on the abandoned 40th Anniversary Corvette and determine if I can get it up and running.
Watch as I remove the fuel sending unit to inspect it and the fuel pump and determine if the fuel is still good or contaminated and needs to be drained. Along the way, I find more mistakes made by the previous owner, one of which causes a very unusual problem to occur that I'll repair in the next video in the series.

I've got the exact same car with the exact same problem... I got it after it's been sitting for 10 years
Background noise is bad but we can still hear you
Great content, based on experience. Thank you.
It blows my mind how many of these cars get basically left for dead!!! People can't figure these things out and just give up on um!! Crazy!!!
I hope this is savable. If I don’t ultimately end up with a ZR1 or a Callaway variant than I’d love one of these down the line. I actually saw a convertible 93 40th anniversary with the Callaway Supernatural 450 package earlier today. This seems far more common/obtainable though and easier to work on. The computer in this one seemed in rough shape though. Good to know about the tendency for those bolts to snap off.
It's a shame they let it sit outside all this time without covering it up.
Great video. What month and year was your Anniversary car manufactured? I noticed you have the Mobil 1 plate under the hood but my ‘93 produced in 10/92 has the older Bowling Green plate. Thanks
Had the same problem with my 85 the fuel filter clogged blew the hose at the pump 🤔
Hey man what's going on it's been awhile I have one problem with my fuel tank in my c4 I had a hard time trying to install the fuel pump the float must be stuck in the down position I think my fuel tank collapsed. Do I need a new fuel tank or can I push air back into the system to push the fuel tank out??😳
Thanks, do a injector next
