:) I think it was... SENA 20S EVO still working great, I want to pick up another lid, may be getting another one of these vs the 30K.
Because my indentations for the speakers were so recessed and my speakers wouldn’t fit correctly, I went to ACE Hardware and bought some 1-1/2” round self-adhesive Felt Pads. They’re pads for chair or table legs. They get perfectly into the knockouts in the helmet and allow to build the speakers out a good 1/8th inch.
Stephen Smith good tip! What helmet did you put it in? On this Aria I ended up shaving the helmet foam for a more comfy fit.
The microphone best not in the middle, when you exhale you can hear that in the microphone great vid man tanks 👍🏻

Real nice video the right wire should go over the top of your helmet for it also serves as your antenna for the fm radio

Is the clamp system on the EVO the same as the 20S?
Don Hand looks to be the same clamping system. As far as the base units, the 20s, 20s evo and 30k will all fit on each other’s base, I asked Sena what the difference is and they said the 30k base has better sound quality, whatever that means. I was trying to buy a 30k main piece to use on my base and that’s the reply I got, but after seeing all the 30k shortcomings I’ve stuck with the 20s evo.
GIZZMOTORSPORTS OK. Thank you. Yeh, I’m not really interested in the 30K at all. It not being compatible with the other models removes it from my list immediately. I have an extra set of the clamping systems (to include the mic setups, etc.), so I’m going to install one set on our full face modular helmets and the other set on our half helmets. That way, all I’ll have to do is move the main piece to whichever helmet we are using at the time. Any tips you’ve come across on your usage so far?
Don Hand the only real problem I had then figured out was to do with the pairing to Sena audio pack for GoPro, you must pair it as intercom vs as a phone. Other than that if you are having trouble pairing units consult the manual, every time we had issues we were doing it wrong. They haven’t made these Apple intuitive just yet, still completely usable tho.
