I have been weighing my 1983 cents for years now,looking for the wrong planchette error. I haven’t been looking for DDO and DDR as long. Fortunately I have quite a few separated,but not checked, that I have to go thru. Thank You for the information 👍.
HI J & Mrs. B. YES, I keep all of my 1983 pennies together, and keep them in a separate area. It has been a while since I have went through them and weighed them all, but this video reminded me that I do need to pull them all out, check for DDO & DDR's and weigh them! 😀

Unbelievable how much money these pennies can bring! As I search my rolls, I save anything that looks like a higher mint grade. And yes, I save all of the 1983s and I will look at them when time allows. It is amazing to me how many higher grade pennies one can find in rolls; and even older ones. Thanks for the video!

Yes I'm checking all my coins I have them from the 60 50 60s all the way up to 2021 I'll have got like hundreds of coins and they're real good shape I just start checking them and collecting them for like 40 years I do like your your videos thank you you have taught me a lot

I started a 5 gallon glass water bottle in 1976 putting all my pennies in there until it was filled around 2001. Still have it , will have to break the bottle to get the 1983 pennies out it. Lots of new type pennies from 1976 to 2001 in there! 💲💲💲💲

I have one in pretty good shape it’s a ddo/ddr it also looks like it wasn’t struck perfectly centered as it has some edge raised around one end and none on the other and you can see the steps good with the naked eye do you think it is worth being graded or should I just put it on eBay? And if so wat would you recommend a fair price would be on eBay? I’m new to this selling I’ve always just kept a lot of change and pulled a lot for safe keeping just bc I admired certain coins for one reason or the other so I’m going thru tons of pennies with my microscope and finding quite of few of the errors you discuss in your videos, yours and Blueridge are the channels I trust any advice would be greatly appreciated

I do weigh all my 1983s.Actually I have been weighing all my coins for about the last 6-8 weeks. I think this penny was mentioned a few months ago on one of the live streams. Up till then, no, i did not. I learn so much from the live streams.

Good grief. I was going to spend the 1983 Penny I have until I watched your video. On the reverse, I found Lincoln just with his knees , torso missing and a die scratch. Thank you.
Also on the inverse the e on e pluribus is faded to very faint and the STA OF STATES IS much faded as well again it weighs over 3 grams so would I be looking at money I haven't got it graded but it's a 65 or better and there's also some other irregularities as well such as off center and some irregularity by the chin please tell me if this brings a good grade and it was Denver mint please say I've struck gold here

I seen this video. Then started going through my pennies. I found 4 1983 pennies that weighed 3.1 grams. 2 were from the Philadelphia mint. 2 were from the Denver mint. What should I do next to know if there worth selling ?

Happy New Year to you & the wife GREAT STUFF AS ALWAYS, QUESTION I HAD SEVERAL ROLLS OF OBW 1983-P&D PENNIES MY wife and I found many
DDO/DDR IN VERY HIGH GRADES IN RED, 1 stuck out that didn't have that orange pill look to it, {from the new allow} so we weighed it on the spot and it was at
2.98 Gms. I know there is a Tolerance to the weight but looks nothing like the others in the Zink, with that orange pill appearance, I want to send it out but do to a income budget, I hoped you might be able to give me a little insight on your thoughts due to it being a1983-D which has very few found in Denver mint, I found 99% other zink pennies between 2.4 to 2.6 GRMS. Copper 2.95-3.3grms. Pls. Help if you can sinc. John B.

I just found a 1983 penny with no mint mark in better condition than the one in your video. It has the wide AM on the reverse & DD ( I think) on both sides! How can I have it verified? I'm very new to this due to finding a one cent error coin from 2018 that was a new error discovery! Yes I sold it & probably way too cheap! 😭Lesson learned!🙄

I have found a 1983s proof with missing clad layers on most of the front of Lincoln and top and sides of the memorial. Not sure what value it should have, Red color and in beautiful condition.

I have a 1983 D penny and it has a raised bump in the form of a line. I haven't been able to find anything talking about it. I really don't think it's damage because the quality of it. HELP

I have a 1983 no mint close AM and with doubling on front and back of the penny the ear is doubled and some of the letters are doubled on the back fron and the year is doubled how much is it worth what should I do about getting it looked at I'm new to the coin world lol
All so on the same penny there are images by the ear and all so on the chin of his beard are numbers and letters and on the front under the bow tie is the letter S and on the front on his neck is number 4
