Hey Shawn I just started following you about 6 months ago when I started my coin collection Hobbie I love looking for errors on coins my family and friends knows that no change goes through my pockets without being checked I've learned a lot from you thank you for your time and expertise and teaching me a lot about coin collection
You're vids have been a great asset for my coin collecting! You talk about the coins I look for!!!!
Thank you so much
Bro i got the same coin can i sell it if u have any idea plz help me
Thanks for sharing Shawn. Very helpful information. Much appreciated, and Thanks again.
Thanks for the info Sean much appreciated
I found a buffalo nikle bout a year ago, then I came across your channel and I have found some interesting coins, I appreciate the information you share on your channel
Interesting Shaun, I’m really happy that you’re starting to put money in as potential grading choices and whether necessary but as a reference point. Thank you
Bro i got the same coin can i sell it if u have any idea plz help me
I belive i have 1988 penny I don't know how to send you a picture
Now I know one thing I'm doing this weekend. Thanks great video
Hey Blueridge, these "What's it Worth" videos are the best.! Thanks again partner!
Bro i got the same coin can i sell it if u have any idea plz help me
I have a 1988 D that only Says berty instead of Liberty. Its missing the L & I
So I found a 1988 p Lincoln Memorial Cent and on the obverse you see E Pluribus Unum and element's of the memorial. On the reverse you can see Lincoln's coat. From what I've found so far it's called a roll over, double struck with the second strike, slightly off center. I have learned more from your videos than from all the others combined. You're a great teacher thanks Shawn and keep the video's coming.
I have a flipped in collar double strike it's been on eBay for 2 months not a single bid one of the rarest of the doubles and I don't think people even realize what it is I'm fixing to send it off to PCGS because you can see Lincoln's profile doubled over the memorial on the back that's not normal but you know all those coins are ultra rare with the l on the rim it actually gives me heartburn to seeing all these dumb people so tangent aside I recommend you send it off and get it graded because in all honesty unless one of the coin companies says it I don't think they value our opinions but I wish you the best of luck and if you think about it let me know how it goes
Many thanks, BlueRidge!
I just spent two days looking through all the coins I had. I have a bunch of. 1960, 61,62,64,70,72,75, 77, and 80's. Hell thought i saw 50 something.
I have been looking for these on my 88's, thanks!!
I have the coins Lincoln
I have a 1988 D DDO -double ear variety on a transitional reverse. It also has a circular die mark that cuts through the second 8, the D and follows around dissecting the B E in Liberty. Coin is in spectacular condition a high gloss Red.
Thank, so much to learn about coins.
Thanks for the information , very valuable.
Another great video!! Thanks brother 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💯
That was pretty damn good, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us
the same coin can i sell it if u have any idea plz help me
I have this coin as well except the transitional error is on Lincoln it is a beautiful beautiful coin
Please make more videos like this. As a newbie this REALLY helps me figure out some starting places for my hunting. There’s sooo much..it’s like where to even start lol
I have it
My recommendation is to get a notebook just shut down you know your key date tweets and buffaloes and Mercury dimes and make list something to reference easily so when you have them in front of you you just flip to this page I just find computer slightly annoying sometimes and I like pen and paper but make sure you keep it organized I have not done that and need to go back and rewrite my notebook but now I can look at just about any coin until you with the varieties should be and what the errors should be so it's kind of like homework write it down you learn it good luck and welcome to one of the most frustrating hobbies I've ever encountered it's fun to lose your mind while staring at coins till you go cross-eyed and fall asleep with an eye loop stuck to your eye and coin stuck to your forehead
As always very interesting video.
Take care and God bless.
Just getting one graded!
Blue your the man,I knew about the ear but not the others
Oh and another question I tried figuring out how to send my coins in for grading but I don’t know how much it cost and maybe you could do a video on it to try to show people how hard it is or how easy it is thank you very much
Thanks BlueRidge for another quality video 💥💥💥💥
New collector here. much enjoying your very helpful videos. Question: is the '89 1c more valuable w the old "FG" style? Hope i'm not confusing genre here. Ps : us newbies wd love to see a list of worthless quarters so we can do laundry b4 we figure it all out 😉
Thank you for the help on all you videos your so much help thank you
Thanks Sean for the name dropping my way.....
Great video! Thanks.
Tyvm for your informative videos.
Hello Shawn.
Well, I have found a 1988 with thick smudging around its borders on the front along with the super rare double earlobe. And on the back “ in god we trust” a distinct doubling on the “U.” Another attribute it came with Lincoln perfectly centered. I’m only 2 months into the trade and I am already totally addicted. Worse than heroin ( just an example ...I’ve never taken any drugs, not even marijuana.
Looking to sell.
All love from Miami Beach , Florida,
Al

Hi BlueRidge, I have a full red 1988D, with doublé die back Lyncoln penny coin. I have red-brown 1960D Lyncoln penny coin. and Brown 1979 no mint , doublé die lyncoln penny, no register, but I like to sell them.. Great video, thank`s. Have a good day.
New to coin collecting and becoming obsessed! Thats what the pandemic did. lol
I don't know why but I have a really hard time telling if something is doubled dyed. A lot of times it looks like a shadow or glare even with the usb magnifier. i have the 1988 P and D penny but can't tell if the ear is double dye. With the magnifier when I take a photo there is so much glare. Is there a trick I should know about? Out of all the youtubers I listen to I enjoy yours channel the most.
Tilt the coin and look in all directions. Don't have your light too bright, and don't go much higher than a x10 magnifier or it'll get distorted
Still Hoping you can address the " High Brass" Cents dated 1980-1982. Really like to hear your Opinion !!!
Bro i got the same coin can i sell it if u have any idea plz help me

What if somebody had a 1988 Denver minted doubled ear teeny in the Dublin is very good would it be like one of the first discovered how would they go about getting it discovered?
I have a 1988 p one but the ust in the word trust gets lighter by the letter and the last T has a circle in the middle of it and it looks like their is an uncomplete word after the trust
As always I myself enjoy your videos very informative!! Also I see that you are always on the lookout for the 1982 zinc small date DDR, Would like you to take a look at something I have, would you please make contact with me really need your opinion,Thank you!
Good work
Great video Shaun wish I could find some of these 1988 but still only finding Machine doubling so far with my box searching I have gone through 55 $25 boxs and not one Double Die yet still hoping though
Change to quarters, easier to read and handling
True but not as many error or varieties as Lincoln Cents. And cost to much $25 for pennies and $500 for quarters I'm not rich lol

Interesting questions on Nichols is it fog or dark they look like a to me? Does no FG bring much value? And lastly what year did they change the d mint mark to the obverse?
"No FG" worth a few dollars unless it's the hyped 1969-D. Not sure what you mean on the last question

I’m planning to do the same as you. With your help, of course! If you are willing to assist me. I am tied up with the holidays but will hopefully be able to begin our indor (sp) after Christmas? I have a 1989 Lincoln cent which has the pre transitional reverse designers initial style like the 1988 normal reverse. Is it known or rare? Every other of the 1989’s that I’ve looked at have the transitional reverse initials which are normal. Please inform me as to what I have. Thanks 🙏
Umm... Is it just me or were your "normal reverse" actually just the same as your transitional and either was not the normal 88...
Thanks for letting me know about that DDE, I'm always forgetting about those kinds of varieties when CRHing...

Just got done with the video about the 1988 Lincoln cents with the 1989 reverse. My question, is there a variety of the 1989 Lincoln cent with the reverse of the 1988? Thanks again and happy hunting.

I found in my pocket change a 1988 double die Lincoln wheat Lincoln penny it’s a double die on the date. The date has no mint mark but there is a mark between the date of the 1 and they 9 but I’m not sure what it is exactly. It has the double ear. I can’t see with enlarging it; can you tell me what it’s worth or where I can contact you at perhaps.I could get it graded and then sell it. Thank you Debby
I was graduaiting from school when they make this.penny..how much cost now?
Could someone please tell me the websites that you can sell coins on? I have a ton of old coins. Wheatleaf pennies, 1943 silver(or steal?) penny, old dollar bills as far back as 1934, a full roll of silver dimes, etc. I always was interested in collecting. I just never looked into what could be worth anything. If anyone knows the sites I could look up to look through & hopefully match any of my coins with ones out there.
I have a question if you end up messaging me back so I definitely have some doubling on my 1988 D penny but on the back the statue in the middle of him sitting down I have what looks to be next to him another one sitting down I took a picture of it and sure enough it does look like it is it worth me sending in
