Ài have a 1966 that has brown color. IT Almost looks kind of red as well. It may have some dub on it back and front. The eye looks as if it open.

Of course we want to try and make a fortune eventually selling coins but that comes second. What's most important is that we grab and preserve as many good condition coins from circulation as we can for the sake of preservation of history. Even the new shield pennies have doubled die errors and worth putting under a scope 🤗🤗🤗

I found a 66 in my copper pennies I just have to look it over for errors thanks for the tip I love the videos keep on feeding me knowledge and I’ll eat it up!
If you find one of these varieties with just one penny, you had better buy a lottery ticket. Just so you know these varieties are pretty hard to find. I have high hopes of finding the ddr one day although I wouldn't mind finding either.

I still have to look for the varieties or more so. Since new to collecting, been collecting coins faster than I had time to look at under a microscope yet and look for them.

Yes they struck Penny's in San Francisco only they didn't add the S until 68

thanks for the wealth of knowledge and mint history my friend. Your videos have awakened me to so much. some really crazy errors too. i sometimes wonder if some of the mint workers did some of these intentionally with the intent of snagging a few valuable rare coins for themselves
You have spoken of the 60s in pennies, but not this year and the ‘Eva’ years were truly questionable by her estate alone, and I love it, I have some and love that designation you spoke of being a brown sent and graded high and priced nicely, I certainly will be pulling them out while I watch your Saturday night special I really appreciated this information and loved the history you always tell along with it thank you for all you do in educating your family

good day there,going through old videos and my old pennies and i found a DDO/DDR 66 lincoln penny,pretty good shape to...not sure what the value is in todays market but im gonna throw it up on ebay today...love your videos...

Very cool video. I actually found a 1966 DDO FS-101 VERY recently and while it is in circulated condition there is no doubt that it is a DDO. Thanks J&B for the info.

I have a few 66 pennies. I need to look closer at them to see if any of them are special. I 've been setting the 60's and 70's pennies aside for now and focusing on the '80s to present. I'll have to go back and look at the 50's and '60s soon. Thanks for the info. =)

I spend at least 2 hours up to 6 hours a day looking through my pennies since I've started to watch you guys 2 months ago!! I'm on pennies and will move upwards from there! As I have said before I've never spent ANY pocket change since 1988!!

I have found a 1966 DDR but not sure what to do. Should I have it graded? It’s in decent shape I think. I’m not sure how they grade them as far as condition but it’s in decent condition.

1966 cent? This was just a weird coincidence.? Was just looking through a few rolls from a box a picked up last week. I got my notification you uploaded a video. I always keep pennies up to the year 1980. While watching I found 2 1966 pennies & a 55s out of 5 rolls. No noticable errors. Will check under the microscope in the morning.

Ihave a1966 penny no mintmark. Brown with some red around the rim, design on both sides are still strong. The new coins are so cheap. 2022 coins look horrible already. Thanks for the awesome informative info!!!

I have a 1966 lincoln I think is miss struck ! The edges are sharp and details are pretty clear . the odd issue is starting around his head tappers thinner ! But the coin edges are good all the way around on both sides struck in just narrowed ( lack of copper ?) Circumstances same as all I checked it against so it hasn't been smashed !

Hi , I recently discovered 2 1966 pennies that was in my storage for over 30 years. One has the old copper finish with an obvious error in one of the ‘6’ finish ( not complete).
The other 66 penny is shiny with only a few nics in them, I think from viewing other rated pennies it could possibly be one of the better ones... it also has a few double columns....

I just started coin collecting but I found a 66 in best condition with the ddo I believe but on the trust and god bottom half of the letters are gone from the die I believe but u can see the doubling, would it be best if I save it. I have 450 1962 d uncirculated pennies that are in a roll from the bank. My father got them because something was changed around that year. Also 50 1966 d in a roll. Never touched. I don't want to open it. Could I auction them. I don't know what I may have. Any suggestions?
Hello there j & b watching your 1966 Penny video, may I make a slight suggestion when you're stating the heritage auction pricing please include the date and year makes it very helpful to know when it was sold even though you have have published this video in 2019. Would be helpful to other collectors looking for such pennies to know when the auction was
