I have a few '79 Ds....this '75 D, a '70 S, '74 no mint mark.. ...and a few others. To a collector, these are the ones they've been looking for. To a father coming out of a 5 day COMA, it can be a blessing. So, let's help each other.
God bless you all

I only have one mint set, from my birth year of 1969 but a coin of this caliber just might convince me to start buying them, especially the 1975. Thanks J&B see ya in livestream tonight.
Hey JB when looking at the first penny shown in this video on the reverse the initials FG the "G" appears to be rather large and well it just don't look right to me. Is it just me or is it error? Thanks for all the info you provide.
Yes, I do buy the mint sets, proofs, uncirculated, too many. Another out of control collection. lol I do check each through the cellophane for errors and varieties. If I find anything I note it on the package, on an additional outside envelope actually, and keep it intact. I have purchased some to purposely cut apart for a book, but when I get it, I don't have the heart to do it. It gets filed with the others. I do want to eventually have a full set of all sets made. A great pipe dream.
Good evening J&B, I hadn’t purchased any Coin Sets before I became a Member of our family. But now I am and have been going to the area stores that sell them. For me that is Walmart and Target. Some people may be surprised , but Target has a great selection of Coin Sets.
Thank you
I learned so much from your channel

I Do buy mint sets and I do check them but not as good as I should so thank you for this news I never would have expect at a price so high
Yes. I have quite a few mint sets. The last one came from y’all in the mail last week. I haven’t found any error coin’s yet.
Only mint set I purchased was the year I was born. I'm thinking of collecting one for each year or as far back as I can afford...lol

Awesome info JB! ...no I don’t buy mint sets, however if I had a LCS with better selections to cherry-pick, I surely would!!
Hi J&B. I used to buy mint sets. I have all the mint sets from the state quarter run, but since the original run ended I have not bought any mint sets.
Sweet, have not purchased any mint sets (that I know of) only proof but might need to reconsidered. Thank for sharing. 💙💛
Yes I have purchased Mint Sets but not often. I will look for possible errors, etc. yet that wasn't my initial intent for the purchase.
I have not purchased any mint sets to date but don't know I could break it up ...scary!

Hi J&B, I have not bought mint sets, but have bought individual coins that I liked. I have a cool error penny though. Thanks for the infomation. Love you all.
I have not prchased a mint set. I collect the 3.11 gram years especially 81 - 83 and will have to check 1975 now.
After the many videos of yours I've watched I have bought mint sets. No major errors found yet.
I have been buying mint sets recently, primarily from the mint. I’m holding and hoping varieties may be discovered. Thanks J&B
I buy mint and proof sets when can get them cheap enough but don't go out of my way to collect them all.
I have just recently started acquiring mint sets. Mostly uncirculated stuff. Never been into the average proof sets really. I like the hunt for all the interesting things in the business strike coins.
Never bought a mint set before, but would like to!
Hi JB, I do buy mint sets, I have every one (plus the sms sets) from 1964 until now, except 1982 & 1983 but I'm working on getting the P&D souvenir sets for those two years. Thanks for the info
I have mint sets back to 1962 & am today buying sets for Christmas gifts for my children - grand children nieces Nephew's & great Niece & great Nephews! Special Birth Year mint sets. I do look for some coins for value .
Hello j&B nope I have not bought any mint sets. Really like to go with the singles. That 1975 will be one I'm looking for now Thanks Alot.
I've by chance purchased a roll of 100% u.c 1975-P cent's. You ott to see just how beautiful these business strikes are. I'm sending the best one to grade in 2024
As you know, I'm still new, Only 5 months into the hobby. I find myself always buying more and more mint sets with the mindset of cherry picking the sets. Problem is once I have the sets, I can't bring myself to cherrypick them and break them up. So I'm up to approx 160 mint sets and still cant pull the trigger to start cherry picking them. Maybe when I hit 200 sets.
Ive never bought a mint set, but Im excited to in the future!!!
Yes I do buy mint sets. My mother would buy them every year for her four boys and one for herself when I was growing up. Another cool video.😎
I do buy mint sets - just started back this year doing so, but have a lot of my Dad's from the 50s onward. Will go back and look at them more closely!
No I haven't bought any mint sets yet. Just because they aren't around here. I'll be looking for them if I get out of town. Thanks for the information and have a great day.
Love your new intro
Yes I do collect mint sets, Now I just need to search through them!!
I haven’t bought any mint sets but I have won some in GAWs. I believe mint sets would be the best way to find high grade non-proof coins. I guess I’ll add mint sets to the other things your videos have me looking for.
I have a 1975 d penny that looks brand new should I grade it??
I've bought mint sets to collect but will be buying extra sets for the possibility of getting a good coin
Sorry, I haven't purchased any mint sets but it is good to know about the 1975 error types. Thanks for the info
I have bought mint sets before to fill empty holes in my album's. I checked them for errors but no luck. I was wondering what the odds of one person finding both coins to a paired set after they get kicked into a coin bin.
There is a well known and valuable variety of quarter DDO FS-101 you could potentially find in that 75 set.
No I have not but thanks to JBCoinsinc I will soon be buying a few as I have become an addicted coin and bill collector. Thank You JBcoinsinc.
Yes, I have bought a bunch of mint sets, but no 1975 mint set.
I have a 1975 D penny that has a piece missing..a blank planchet. What is the value of it?
Actually, I do get some mint sets in hopes for looking for certain things on them. Errors, or high grade coins, etc. Have not got lucky enough to retire yet, but who knows, haha!
I used to buy mints sets almost every year. But it has been a while. I think I’m going to have to start up again.
I only own one mint set. I usually don’t buy them or proof sets unless it’s something I really want like the 2009 silver proof set.
Yes I collect mint sets to look for errors
I have bought mint sets, proof sets, and other various coins from the mint, and in auctions! I love the opportunities that mint/proof sets provide, but I don't know if I'd dare split them up to sell them individually.
I just found a 1972 that is in great shape and has an extra deep curved top edge. And Lincoln is very detailed and casts a shadow he is so raised compared to the rest of the coin. The back is normal but the front seems extra defined and curved on the top edge
Not yet...lol One day in my future I will start collecting them as well.
So, I have a 1977 D Penny right now. Where should I sell it?
Have a 1975 no mint mark penny with an over print MS and the shape of the state, great condition???
Hello,
I am new to coin collecting of any kind. I'm having a hard time with quality/grading separation. I was given about $200 worth of pennies (many years were bought and then just put in a container to not have come out again until I got them). I saw this video and wanted to share a few of my 75&76 pennies and maybe get any advice or input I could to be helpful. Thank you
Hey Jay,how could I get to ur auction for the purpose of selling where is ur auction n do u allow sales
HI J&B, I just got from the store a Silver penny I thought it was a dime 1978 Mint state also have a 1975 penny that has the state of VT in front of his face Thank you,
No, I don't buy mint sets to look for errors. Seems to me that the ODD shaped coins would never be in our change mainly because they wouldn't fit in a wrapper. They were probably rejected at the reserve before rolling. 😁😁😁
I have some coins I think would be worth a lot where can I take them to grade n sell
I have a broad strike Kennedy that I want to get graded, and a no-date clad Washington quarter- it is fun looking for errors
I have a 1975 penny that is the same thickness as 2 Penny's has a line going around it like it should've been split into 2 do I have something or not
I bought a few mint sets but have not checked them for errors...yet!
