  • I wanted to install a Wolfbox rearview mirror on my Ford Econoline Van but when I tried to remove the stock mirror, the mounting lug popped off of the glass. This turned out to be good since the Wolfbox mirror mount requires a different size mounting shoe. I show how to properly prepare and re-adhere a mirror mounting lug to the windshield so that it will stay for good and not come off. Thanks for watching!

Love watching these videos even if I don’t need to.. I have a 1997 Ford E350 Club Wagon extended that shares almost the exact same story. Church van, catalytic conveyer stolen, possibly keyed (too many scratches to tell), and needs almost all of the same work. I also might want to make it a camper later down the line but believe it or not it’s my daily for now, working out the kinks and making it mechanically sound. Thank you for the videos, it’s exactly what I needed to keep going on my project✌️

glad the videos are helpful. cool to hear! poor church vans be falling apart especially during covid. haha mine was sure keyed, I'm happy the transmission fluid is nice and red, they must have somewhat serviced it. needs front brakes bad with new rotors pads and calipers they are warped scary bad and the calipers are probably sticking. oh neat! they are pretty comfy to drive not the best gas mileage though. they are way more useful than pickup trucks many times, sooo much room. same here, I'm hoping to finish all the mechanical work on mine this summer. no problem, many more videos to come!

@@4WheelKid idk how common it is but when I first drove it home the driver front caliper was seized as well, ended up replacing basically every front brake component including wheel speed sensors since on my last 2 fords there was always an abs light from a bad wheel speed sensor including this one …

Hi just watched your video on pumping the gas out of the tank on a E350. I disconnected the line at the filter like you did. I figured that if I just turned the key on, it would start the pump and it didn't. Full tank, good battery. IDK. Is there some kind of fail safe that won't let the pump run if the engine is not turning over. If I turned over the engine, fuel came out of the line. (of course it wouldn't start since the fuel line was disconnected.)

Mine only primes the pump when the key is turned on for a couple seconds, some vehicles only start the pump when its cranking and the engine is running. You could just remove the relay and jump the main current pins. Lots of ways to do it

@@4WheelKid Thanks, after some research, jumping pins 30 and 87 on the pump relay makes it hot as long as the key is on.
