Sooooo… I’ve been up since 3am (iykyk) as I haven’t been able to sleep, but your comments have been so wonderful and entertaining to read and have kept me company haha.
Just wanted to let you know that this is such an amazing community and I feel incredibly grateful. I’m gonna try and get back to you all, but thank you so much for being here. I truly appreciate it. 🥹
P.S you guys understood the assignment and DELIVERED on the book recommendations!! 😮 thank you!! Can’t wait to check them out. 💗💗💗
youtube did one thing right by suggesting your channel to me !
Same for me! 😊
Samesies! 💃🏾😊
Same!!! ❤❤
Same !
Same here 😊😊
I loved that you took a hearty sip of tea before talking about what you didn't like in a book. 😂❤
😂😂 I needed it!
CRACKING up at your review of the spice for Chloe Brown 😂
You are a breath of fresh air my dear. Thanks for being here!
"These people are in their THIRTIES" this cracked me up, I love your videos!
I absolutely love your reviews! You give such a perfect mixture of a synopsis of the read as well as your thoughts without spoilers or getting too much into the weeds of the plot :) Keep it up!! You're doing such a great job!!
Thank you, that''s so kind of you!! 💕💛
A sip of tea before talking about the one you didn’t finish. That was very interesting to hear you thought the character was American because of the lack of British banter. Now I need a book recommendation from you that has great British banter!
Thanks for the insight. I’m impressed with all you read this month. I’m hoping to finish my one book for December. 😊
What I read in November:
The Knights Templar: A Captivating Guide to the Powerful Military Order & Their Impact on the Crusades by: Captivating History
Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin
In Search of Mary Shelley by Fiona Sampson
The Pale Horseman by Bernard Cornwell
The Lost Book Shop by Evie Woods
You're quickly becoming one of my favorite booktubers! You're just so comforting to watch/listen to. I love the way you speak and carry yourself 🥰
LOVE cult books! Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas, Bunny by Mona Awad, & Madam by Phoebe Wynne are some of my faves!
Thank you so much for these recommendations! 🤎
loving your vids! you're very relatable, thank you!
Another wonderful Nickelle video! ❤ Just so so happy you are here on booktube
Thanks for the reviews
Sip the tea!!!!! I love it !!!!!!
I feel so lucky to have stumbled across your channel and to see how quickly it has grown! Your energy feels so incredibly lovely and I love your taste in books and vibe 🤍
So happy this channel turned up on my feed. Love your esthetic and your overall vibe! Happy to be subscribed to a new booktuber!!
So glad the algorithm pushed your channel to me! Been subbed for a few days now!❤❤
i love the way you review books! you have a different taste in books than me so it's really nice to hear your thoughts on things i personally wouldn't go for
thoroughly enjoyed this wrap up 🌟
☺️🌸Oh !!!! the video on my CZcams feed was the good surprise of the day ! 🌸
Love your new channel. Love your reading representation. You are a wonderful addition to all my favorite book reviewers.
The best thing about Rupi is seeing her live. Her energy on stage is beautiful!! Reading Evil Eye right now. ❤
Nickelle! A fellow brummie youtuber! I'm so glad your booktube newbie tag video popped onto my homepage 😆 loving your videos so far!
I felt the same way about Writers and Lovers!
Enjoyed hearing your thoughts. Many tea breaks are needed when you have to get down and explain something 😂
Im so glad you started booktube, you make me smile and laugh out loud! You have such a lovely personality, like spending time with a friend:D
Aww thank you!! ☺️
Love seeing what other people read! I can’t wait to film my video on all the books I read this year! So many books, so little time! Maybe I should go back into lock down so I can read more books 🤣🤣
i felt the same way about Writers & Lovers! Couldn’t get into it for the life of me 😂❤
Could spend all day listening to you! ❤
Hi again..:: loving the video. Good rec’s
My fave of the Talia Hibbert books is the second book. I enjoyed it so much more than the other two. As for Church Lafies, Peach Cobbler is my absolute favorite story. Love your channel.
I'll defo read that one then ☺️ 🍑🍑 LOVE peach cobbler!!
Thank you so much xx
Loved your description of the Spicy bit. Had me in stitches😂. Bang on about being in the 30's, nothing wrong with a few stories in your back pocket, but you know, now you at least want the heating on. 🙊
OMG 😂 I howled at your comment!!! You're absolutely right though, I can understand in your teens when you're still living with parents etc, but c'mon, you couldn't wait until you got home? Crikey! 🙈
Newly subscribed here! I'm glad I found your channel 💕 love the taste, your style, the aesthetics, decor... everything seems effortlessly cool 😎 I'm excited to get book recommendations from you!
Ooooh thank you so much!!! You're so kind and welcome 💕 glad to have you around!!
You might like Lily King's short story.. Five Tuesdays in Winter. It was pretty good 😊
love your channel vibe! subscribed :)
You're so pretty omg
The youtube algorithm really did its thing when it recommended your channel! Our book tastes are so similar and we have similar thoughts about chloe brown but I promise you the series gets so much better!
YAY!!! Oh that's good then!! Yeah I think I'm gonna stick with the Brown sisters, I'll just write this one off as not my fave haha
Thanks for stopping by! 🥰
Oh no! I was intrigued from your "What's in My Bag" video that I started reading "Get A Life Chloe Brown." But, I like it so far.
You must look up the alt cover for Secret Lives, it's a beautiful portrait! Love to hear your passion for it. I read it but didn't rate it since I'm on the fence about rating short stories and poetry. They're just a little out of my wheelhouse. Cheers to December!
Your vlog inspired me to buy the secret lives of church ladies. Tbh I think the only brown sisters book worth reading out of the series is the last one. 💛
YAYY! How you finding it? Oooh okay, thanks for letting me know 🤎
So interesting to hear your thoughts on Get A Life Chloe Brown! I gave it 5 stars but do completely agree on the Americanisms - it took me a while to realise it was British too. Also I am HOWLING at your reaction to them fooling around outside - you're actually so correct.
Added Careering and Secret Lives of Church Ladies to my TBR list!
Awww I really wish I had the same experience as you! I so wanted to love it, I really did!!!
😂😂😂 that scene outside was so unnecessary 😂
YAYYY! I hope you enjoy them!! I hope you're doing well and congrats again on your book, I can't wait to read it. 😘
I’ve been recommended Evil Eye and have been on the fence about it. I think I might head to her other one first maybe. Loooooooved The Secret Lives of Church Ladies sooooo much. What a collection! Loved the lipgloss application before the bookish tea came. Hahaha. Another fab video.
Yeah I think I want to read her first novel, just so I can get a well rounded view of her writing. Evil Eye is still a good book, just wasn't my fave.
Hahaha 🤣 thanks Simon! 🫶🏾
okay I also felt the same about Chloe Brown, but trust me when I say Dani Brown will redeem it for you! (I accidentally read her first so imagine my disappointment reading Chloe after lol)
😂😂 oh no! You must have been so let down
The rest of the Brown Sisters books are sooooo good, please consider reading them. The chemistry in the second book is so apparent and the third one was my favourite. I believe that these characters are actually in love as opposed to the first book. 💞💓
I’m definitely going to read the rest of them as I’ve heard they’re a little better! 🥰
i agree wholeheartedly
Loved the video! Are you planning to do a “year in books wrap up”?
Super cosy as usual❤
Good idea! I hadn't thought of it, as I only just started reading again since July, but yeah I can do! 🥰
It's been so lovely seeing your channel grow. Your videos are so cozy and you emanate comforting vibes 🥰 You also recommend a lot of books that aren't as talked about on booktube which is great for discovering new reads :) Also really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Insatiable! I've had that book on my shelf for months and haven't picked it up yet so maybe tis time haha
Awwww thank you so much!!!!! 😘 This is such a nice comment!
Yes I can't wait to read it either as I've heard good things. I think we need to strap in because it's meant to be crazy 🙈🤪
It sounds like such a wild ride but I'm excited!! It was one of those books I knew nothing about when I picked it up at the bookstore and it came home with me because the back was too intriguing to leave it there 😂Best of luck reading it for us both! 💚💚 @@NickellesNook
Such a nice video again! Already put 2 books of this list on my wishlist, hope to get to them soon. Regarding your book rec. request: haven't read it, but heard good things about Cultish by Amanda Montell. Hope it's something you're looking for❤
Really enjoyed this video, got a few books that I want to read now! I know you mentioned towards the end about wanting to read books about cults, and this isn’t a book rec, but there’s a podcast I’ve been meaning to check out called ‘Sounds Like a Cult’ where they speak about different cults in the episodes
Oooh thank you for recommending, I'll check it out! Sounds like something I'd listen to. 💗
I see you rocking a Berlin mug - greatings from here! 🐻
You're very lucky to live there! Love Berlin so much 💛
That scene on the monument steps was...😯. And I listened to the audiobook and the narrator sould like Angela Landsbury. Jarring
I literally screamed when I read it 😂😂 I can't even begin to imagine how it sounded in the audiobook
I had the exact same feelings towards Get A Life Chloe Brown as you (gave it 2 stars). I carried on with the series because I heard such good things about the second and third books and I thought they were amazing. The love interests are so much better & the spice scenes make way more sense & they still also have all the things you liked in the first book. I ended up giving the second book 4 stars and the third book 4.5 (it's now my favourite romance). I think i've seen others mention it, but I would also recommend Seven Days in June as well.
Absolutely loving your channel
I know, such a disappointing read wasn't it?! I really thought I was in the minority as so many people love it.
Oooh you've given me faith to carry on with the Brown sisters!! 🥰
Thank you for your kind words 😘
I haven't read it but your reaction to the monument scene was hilarious 😂 for books about cults, I enjoyed the Girls by Emma Cline. and I haven't read it but the memoir Educated by Tara Westover has amazing reviews!
Love Emma Cline!!!! Also Educated was phenomenal. 🎉
So I'm normally not a poetry girl either but I made it a goal as part of my book bingo to read a poetry book this year and I stumbled across Wearing my Mother's Heart by Sophia Thakur, and I absolutely loved the audiobook. She talks about the women in her family, themes of love and her black mixed race heritage. The audiobook is read by her and her mother which made it hit deeper. I highly recommended this book 😊
Wow, this sounds amazing! Would love to check it out.
Thanks for recommending 💖
books abt cults: bunny by mona awad, rouge by mona awad, and pop nonfiction cultish by amanda montell
The Sound of Gravel - is my recommendation for a cult memoir. It’s heavy and some scenes will stick with you for a long time. Highly recommend.
Oooh thank you, I’ll take a look! 💖
Your critique on Writers & Lovers about introducing a new character every line! I can't stand when authors do that! Love your makeup by the way! The slicked back hair! Lovely as always! This is the first time I've heard a negative review on the Brown Sisters books. I've never read don't plan to because of the spice 😂 but this shows that we need you here in booktube! I love your reviews.
Ugh it's so annoying! It makes it very hard to follow.
Awww thank you so so much! 🥰
Oh yeah if you don't like spice you really won't like this. It's very vulgar at times! 😂
I forgot to reply to your other comment about your trip to Europe! As you're travelling around and visiting a few diff places, I would defo do the braids! It'll be so much easier! You're gonna have such an amazing time, you're going to love it! Make sure you visit all the cute and quaint bookshops. If you want to visit some pretty English countryside places with cute bookshops, you HAVE to go to the Cotswolds, it's about an hour train journey from London and it's so gorgeous!
@@NickellesNook for sure!! Braids, it is! 😂 I’ve heard of Cotswolds from a coworker that’s originally from Yorkshire!! Now I’m definitely gonna go. Thanks girl!
I felt soooooo unimpressed and neutral about Writers & Lovers!! It kicked off a summer reading slump for me this year 😅imo you didn't miss out on much, I hardly remember anything from it only a few months later haha. I also found Redd super annoying in Chloe Brown! My favorite book of the Brown Sisters trilogy is the second actually. My favorite book I read this month was "Babel" by R.F. Kuang! It was my first foray into dark academia and I found it super engaging even though it's long, thought-provoking, and well-crafted. So excited for your next video, be well til then ☺💜
Oh noooo! Haha maybe I shouldn't return to it then.
Haha I'm glad I wasn't the only one that wasn't keen on Red. He was just doing too much 😂
Oooh I really want to give dark academia a go. I've heard about 'Babel' but not too sure what it's about.
i just discovered your channel and i love listening to you so much!! this month i finalllllyy have gotten a chance to read for fun (instead of class) and I’m reading against a loveless world by susan abulhawa
New subscriber!! Love your content and I really appreciate that you don’t rate any and everything five stars 😂 your channel is like a breath of fresh air and very relatable!
Thank you!! 💖💖
And thanks for subbing as well.
Girl, your reaction to THAT scene was literally me when I first read it 😂
As for book recommendations related to cults, this might be an obvious one but HELTER SKELTER is absolutely brilliant. It’s about the Manson Murders and written by the guy who was the prosecutor and the level of detail he goes into is astounding. But he does it in a way that keeps you focused and doesn’t confuse you, I tend to have the attention span of a goldfish and I had no problem keeping track of who’s who because he reminds you so often. And despite the hefty page length, I breezed through it and I am not the fastest reader.
So I would suggest checking that out, if you haven’t already 😊
😂😂 I felt like I dislocated my jaw when I read it
Ooooh never heard of it, but it sounds fascinating indeed! I don't mind a beefy book. I've added to my TBR. This next book order is gonna be spenny haha
Thank you for the recommendation, I really appreciate it! 🥰
I just love your reading wrap-ups. Love your hair as well. Hope you’re feeling well?
I completed reading Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson, The Secret Lives of Church Ladies and Someone Somewhere Maybe by Sophie Diener (a collection of poetry).
I love poetry and Milk and Honey is on my list for 2024. I’m curious to see how I’ll like it.
Thank you so much!! Yeah not doing too bad at the moment, how are you? Oooh Black Cake is on my TBR, do you recommend? Uggh I'm still thinking The Secret Lives of Church Ladies, LOVED it!!
Oooh if you love poetry I think you'll enjoy Milk & Honey then. 🫶🏾
“AQA poetry” sent me BACK 🫠😭😭😭
Girl, I thought it was just me who didn't love Get A LiFE...I read a sample and I was like "nah!". I read 13 books in November, if you are on Good reads, we can connect. This month my aim is to finish the physical books I have on loan from friends. They are Mad Honey, the Testament, and the Singles Game.
I read 4 books in November, which I was very pleased with. 2 physical books( One Night in Italy by Lucy Diamond and and The Bookshop Christmas by Rachel Burton) 2 Audio books( Anne Frank's Story, Britney Spears The woman in me)
What a great reading month for you. 💖
Oooh I read the woman in me in Dec and thought it was heartbreaking 💔
I see a lot of folks are recommending The Girls by Cline for cult reads -- and I loved that one too. I loved these as well:
Gather the Daughters, Melamed
Marrow Island, Smith
Amazing!! I'll check the others out 💗
Thank you
Amazing video as per usual! Gunna add the secret lives of church ladies to my list! 🥰🫶🏾
Awww thank you! I've ordered Daisy Jones and the Six because of you. 🥰Oh yes you need to read it! One of my fave books of the year. I actually think you'd really enjoy it!
You might like Kerry Winfrey. She writes cute romance books! Not culty in any way but fluffy and easy to read books! Love your channel and your book reviews 🥰
Always on the hunt for a fluffy romance! Thank you 💗
I can relate to rating a book one way and then reflecting on it and changing my rating later. It goes both ways for me, sometimes I reflect on a book more positively after I've had some time away from it than when I first finished, but a lot of the time I feel like I was too generous when I first rated something. The only culty book I can think of right now is Black Sheep, but I'm not sure if that's what you're after.
Absolutley!!!
Oooh, I'll check it out, thanks for recommending! 💗
I still need to read the Brown sister books 😭
Loved this vid! ☺ In terms of cult book recs, I've heard great things about "Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism" by Amanda Montell (but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet), and I really enjoyed "The Road to Jonestown: Jim Jones and Peoples Temple" by Jeff Guinn; very chilling!
Thank you! I've added Cultish! Oooh I'll check that one out, I watched a doc a few years ago about Jonestown, I enjoyed it, but it was so disturbing!!!! 😣Thank you for recommending, will have a look. 😘
Loving your channel and your book talk!❤ I recommend the documentary on the NXIVM cult, that was a wild ride 😥
Oooh thank you so much! Will defo check that out.
You're so sweet, thank you for the kind words. 💗
I agree about the monument scene 😂 The second book about Dani is much better IMO, the romance is sweeter and feels more realistic.
SO BAD!! 😂😂
Oh yes quite a few of you have suggested that one. I think I will continue with the Brown Sisters, I'll just write this one off as a not so great book for me haha
I love love love your channel Nickelle! This past month I read Another Country by James Baldwin, L'Evenement (Happening) by Annie Ernaux, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, and I'm finishing up Elena Knows by Claudia Pinero right now :) I can't wait until the next video
I almost bought ocean vuongs book yesterday but I had already picked up 6, will be going back for this soon
Amazing!!! You read a lot! I haven't heard of any of these. 😚 Did you enjoy them?
@@NickellesNook Yes!! I would definitely recommend Ocean Vuong's book, although it't a bit of a heavier read. Another Country was very thought provoking, and I still think about this book a lot! One of the main focuses is inter-racial relationships in 20th century America, I think you would like it😋
Loved your review of Get a Life Cloe Brown! For a book about a rich family with fucked up dynamics I would recommend Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe. It’s nonfiction but really compelling and great on audio
Haha thank you!!
And yes empire of pain is defo on my TBR! Can’t wait to give it a read as it sounds right up my street. Thanks for the recommendation ❤️❤️
i loved get a life chloe brown 🥺 but your reactions to the book made me laugh! another black british romance i enjoyed was honey and spice by bolu babalola, if you haven’t read it i’d recommend ❤
😂
This is what I love about books. Two people can read the same book but have completely different experiences with it.
Oh yes it is on my TBR, I do need to get around to buying it as I would love to read it! Thanks for recommending 🥰
That AQA Anthology! 😵
I liked the female friendships in Careering but enjoyed Insatiable much more. Interested to see what your thoughts are on it when you get it. Loving your videos btw :)
Writers and lovers also didn’t work for me! Highly recommend Happy Hour by Marlowe Granados, I feel that would be up your alley. Maybe save that one for summer because the vibes are on point.
As a poetry lover, I'm not a fan of Rupi Kaur. But I do think she's a good introduction to get people interested in poetry. You should try out Mary Oliver! She's my favorite poet of all time.
Thanks for the recc, I'll check it out! 💗
I think you might enjoy the Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff. Really interesting female characters. I’m currently listening to the audiobook of the Secret lives of Church ladies based on your recommendation and loving it
I second this! I loved Bandit Queens and I think it's a really unique take on female friendship (i.e. actually complex, not just surface-level) and a really impressive mix of dark themes with hilarious and light-hearted writing :)
It's on my TBR as I thought I would like to too! Thanks for recommending!
Oh I'm so jel you're reading it for the first time! Would love to know what your fave story is when you finish 💕
I bought the new version of Alexandra Potter's books, "More Confessions of a Forty-Something F##k Up" while at the Edinburgh airport. I haven't read the first one you mentioned here but hopefully the second is less repetitive as the first one 😆
Haha fingers crossed!!
For cult books I recommend The Line Between by Tosca Lee (it's a duology, the second book is A Single Light), and also while not really a cult, it's more of corrupt, dystopian politics is The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (if you haven't read it already that is). More along those lines of dystopian governments that act like cults would be The Giver by Lois Lowry, and Unwind by Neil Shusterman (both are the first in series', but I've only ever read those first books) Unwind is especially good. But that first book, The Line Between is absolutely about a cult. Thank you for another lovely video!!
Sone amazing recommendations, thank you! Handmaids Tale has been on my TBR for years now, I know I will enjoy that!
Lovely video
aw I am sad you didn't enjoy Chloe Brown as much as I expected (I got super excited when I saw it in the pile in the intro hahaha) but honestly very valid and real criticism hahaha. The third book in the series is my favorite one (I kinda relate to poor Evie), but I have to say that the male protagonist in the second book is my favorite out of the three guys (although I didn't like Dani too much).
And yeah the spicy scene in the street made me drop it one star cause WHYYYYY ???
I am also planning to read Unfairly Cute and the other series that Talia has because her female characters are top tier!
I know! I was gutted as I genuinely thought it was going to be a highly rated read for me. Ooooh okay, I'm defo going to read the rest of the books. OMG what was that all about?! 😂😂 I cringed so much at that scene!!!!
Oooooh I have seen Unfairly Cute floating around on Goodreads. You'll have to let me know what you think. I do agree you on that! 💕
I also just watched Escaping Twin Flames! If you're looking for nonfiction, I would definitely recommend Cultish by Amanda Montell and for the Succession request, Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe
How good was that doc?! I've added cultish and also Empire of Pain to my TBR!! Will defo pick that up. Was exactly what I was after!! Thank you so much 🥰
I keep hearing about The Secret Lives of Church Ladies, and I'm very curious about it. I'm sad you didn't love Get a Life, Chloe Brown, but it's nice to hear something other than praise for the book. I haven't read it, but I get nervous when I hear only good things about a book, like there's probably a lot wrong with it that no one is acknowledging rather than it's just that good.
Ooooh highly recommend the Secret Lives of Church Ladies! One of my fave books this year for sure.
Yeah excatly! I was actually so nervous to post this video as I knew I was in the minority about Chloe Brown. It's still an okay book if you like fluffy romances, however it's very, very spicy!! 🌶️
Anwww I thought you’d like “Milk and Honey”!!!! It’s one of my favorite book 🥰
Awww, I think if I loved poetry, it could be up there. But I'm not a huge poetry girl. It's lovely to read that it's one of your faves though, I can see why. Some of the poems were pretty moving and emotional. 🥰
Yes you said that you weren't much into poetry so i understand :)@@NickellesNook
So happy I found your channel!By the way, the book Trust by Hernan Diaz seems a bit succession-ish from what I’ve heard…Though I haven’t actually had the chance to read it yet myself, I thought I’d share in case it sounds like your cup of tea :)
Oooooooh thank you!!! Will check this out 💕
Added to my TBR. Thank you!
Wow you've read quite a bit of books in November. Right now I'm currently reading the night circus by Erin morgenstern and I'm not even half way done with it. A part of me wants to DNF it. Anyways love your vids and I hope all is well.
Haha yeah not sure how I did it. Some of them were short reads though (200 ish pages). Oooh yeah I get that, if you're not enjoying it, there's no harm in DNF'ing. Thank you!! All good thanks, hope you are too!! 😚
You know you're about to get a REVIEW when the lip gloss comes out! 🤣
You know it!! 😂
The things I'd do to find a book similar to Motherland show!
Have you read Inka, where is your husband? That's a really good read
Ohhh no I haven't yet, but it's been recommended to me a few times! I think i'd enjoy it though! I'm glad you liked it! 🥰
I just love your smile. I just finished the sequel to confessions of a 40something fxxk up- it was 4 out of 5 for me. Reading yellowface currently would love to get your thoughts on that. A women is no man is good would recommend you try this book. Xx
Aww thank you!! Ooooh, that sounds promising, maybe I should give it a read then! Oooh Yellowface has been on my TBR for ages, I do want to get round to reading it. Hopefully in the new year.
Yes, definitely want to read A Woman Is No Man as well. 💛
I dnf'd Get A Life Chloe Brown, and you're totally right, I didn't get that British vibe at all!
Haha I'm glad it wasn't just me
I read the first two books in the Talia Hibbert series thinking she was American 🥴😳 definitely agree that it doesn’t feel British
Haha it wasn't just me then!! So confusing right? 😂
Btw, love your latest video!!!
Hey! Just so you know you don’t have to read the brown sisters books in order and in my opinion the 3rd one, act your age eve brown, is the best. I thought the first and second books were mediocre outside of the representation but the third was a 4 star read for me so hope you pick it up!
Oooh thank you, that's good to know! 🥰
lol I think all I remember from the Chloe Brown book was the beginning and the spice 😭
😂😂😂
Hi Nickelle, not sure if you were after non-fiction recommendations for books around cults, but I'm currently reading 'Cultish' by Amanda Montell. It's about how cults use language to influence people. It explores old cults to today's trends like SoulCycle. It's fascinating so far; you might find it interesting.
P.S. Just found your channel today and I'm loving your content. I've been in search for more UK booktubers! 💗
Oh amazing! I've added to my TBR, sounds like something I would enjoy and I do love a non-fiction! Thank you so much for the recommendation. 💗
Thank you so much for kind words, I really appreciate it! 🥰
The girls by Emma cline is a book set in a cult. Would recommend, I quite liked it!
Second this!
A really good romance book about a flatshare... "The Flatshare" by Beth O'Leary. I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this. I think it has a series on paramount plus. I really enjoyed reading it.
I've seen quite a few people talking about this! I think I would like it as well!! Thanks for recommending 😚
I was not keen on Get a life Chloe Brown. I could not get the hype, which was so disappointing for me. I wanted to love it .
