This view of hosting the FIFA WC in June & July only is a very West centric view, focussed only on temperate global North countries & deprives the tropical global South of hosting such events entirely. We in India r too planning to host a WC in near future, but won't do so in June or July when the climate herein is hot & humid, but in the cooler October & November period, which is coincidentally also the traditional festive season.

Due to the success of this years World Cup, Qatar will "bid" (bribe for) on the 2034 Summer and Winter Olympics to be held at the same time, the 2030 Super Bowl LXIV and 2031 NFL Draft, the 2028 NBA Finals, both the 2029 Indianapolis and Daytona 500, the 2031 MLB Allstar Game ( and World Series), the 2027 FIBA World Cup, Floyd Mayweather's next exhibition boxing match, the 2027 Kentucky Derby Preakness and Belmont Stakes, the 2035 World Cup of Rugby, 2028 Wimbledon, 2029 US Open in Tennis and Golf, the 2030 Masters (Golf), the 2030 T20 World Cup for Cricket, 2034 BWF World Championships of Badminton, the 2027 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships, and the 2025 World Cornhole Championship. After seeing the success or Qatars World Cup and not to be outdone, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will "bid" on these sporting events as well. And not to be outdone by any of those countries, Xi Jinping and China will DEMAND to host ALL of these sporting events because ALL of these sports were invented by and played in China since Ancient Times.

what very bad thing did Qatar as a country do???
Nothing infact it has improved over the years to what is an exceptional Country-best satisfaction any citizen would experience.
What are some of the things that QATAR has been ACCUSED.
    1) 6500 + migrant workers dying
This figure is taken from a report of total workers who died from 2012 to present. The deaths were not specifically related to building the stadiums. The deaths related to any other means including Covid etc.Thats why no source can prove 6500 died due to construction of the stadium.Funny how people can spread rumours just because it befits their agenda or liking idk.
    2) Qatar PAID for FANS to support them
This was just an accusation that was made and it wasnt true.
    3)Qatar has no football history.
Fake Qatariz love football and have hosted many games in the past.
    4) LGBTQ Community are discriminated
Well LGBTQ Community need to chill.Qatar said they accept everyone with different sexual orientation however no one should be spreading their believes on others example walking with rainbow flags, making out in the parks etc.I respect Qatar for this.Every country ,their culture, their rules. This doesnt even need to be addresed since its a very stupid accusation.
    5) Qatar bought the WorldCup.
All theory no one has proved this accusation.Well we dont know if the previous worldcups were also corrupted or not so lets not spread rumours that arent substantive.

You’re pretty self-centered for not understanding why he said that. He is American. His audience is almost all American. He is going to refer to seasons by terms his audience is familiar with. The World Cup is, like he said, always hosted in June and July before this one. Every major league has adjusted its schedule to accommodate this event. Many American sports are known for their ethnic diversity actually. Major League Baseball’s biggest star right now is from Japan, Shohei Ohtani. The team that just won the championship, the Houston Astros, has players from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, and Honduras. The NBA is full of international stars, current and former. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, Joel Embiid, Boban Marjanovic, as well as former players like Hakeem Olajuwon, Dirk Nowitski, the Gasol brothers, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Dikembe Mutumbo, Yao Ming, and Manute Bol just to name a few I can think of. I am not too familiar with hockey but I believe the top pro leagues in America are also quite ethnically diverse. UFC is also extremely popular here and nationality is a part of almost every fighters identity, with fighters all over the globe. Formula 1 is also growing in popularity and while known as being primarily European, it does travel all over the globe. US sports culture is very distinct, but saying that American sports are not international is just ignorant of you. Even the least international of the major sports, American Football has recently held games in Europe, and the one in Germany was recorded with receiving over 3 million ticket requests. Don’t go spouting garbage when you don’t know the facts.
