- A short video on how to set up a cruise speed limit whether you're using an auto cruise control or manually flying the ship on Space Engineers by using a simple yet effective building trick that can be easily toggled on and off as well as configure on the fly

You can make this even more precise with thrust over-ride. Great for making automated orbital ascent computers; set max speed to 95 m/s for optimal fuel efficiency.
I guess that's one way to utilize it yeah c= fuel saving u wu ♥ x3
This is basically the same system I use to efficiently autopilot a ship into orbit. Set another EC block so that when Gravity = 0 it switches to a regular drone and flies to a precise destination. You can launch stuff into orbit very efficiently that way, or even just do it on your own ship so you don't have to manually control it and you can just drink some coffee and watch youtube on another screen.
You could probably make a automated tunnel boring machine this way, you'd probably have to set the speed limit to 2 ms or lower so a collision doesn't tilt the machine off course
Oo good point x3 that's one useful convenience application for something like this c=
If it's automated then why not just use the AI flight block speed limit, it's inbuilt.
@@rivenarchon333 too many micro corrections that waste power, also it requires you to setup waypoints to get it to work properly
@@themidnightbanshee5927 Then how is it automated?
@@rivenarchon333 through the method Luca shows in the video
What a nice trick! Ty for sharing~ c:
Thanks Src x3 ♥ and np u wu
That's very smart!
Thanks transistor x3 experimenting with stuff is always fun u wu
Great way to keep the autopilot from burning through all your fuel in space too.
love automatons. Truely the dark side of SE
👍👍👍👍
x3 ♥
Anyone else get purpple dots when on pertam while its storming?
O: I haven't seen them but I haven't been on Pertam while it's storming recently so x3
@@LucaTheGuide :p Im attempting to make a survival senario. Guess weather bad mmhh k
It’s good until you start drifting backwards.
xD just needs a better configuration u wu
