Next time you cut one out, use the bandsaw and add an extra 1/4" piece of ply. This way you have a wooden template to use for when your cardboard cutout gets its last use.

Thanks for sharing your technic on painting stripes on projects. I've struggles with masking tape & not been really happy with the results. Can't wait to try this. I've basically sworn off painting most thing recently. Also tell your wife thanks for the assistance. I have a friend in Texas who's wife makes him look really good with her talent.
