nice wooden toys. Can I ask what kind of non-toxic paint do you use?
We just use the craft paint you get in the 2 Oz bottles
Love your work , I’m going to try to make one for my grandson
Thanks for watching

It's in the video When I'm at the chop saw

Put a washer behind each wheel
I don't like to use any metal on my toys. Just my opinion. Thanks for watching
You need to use a fence to help support the wood when drilling the hole in the hitch
Yes I probably should, If I was making a lot of these, I would have. Thanks for your concern Thanks for watching
Did this pattern come from a company called toys and joys?
No
I think my husband has had this pattern for several years also. I think it came with a disc pattern also
Ok
If you use 2x6 or 2x8 most of this wood will have a slight cup in it
I like to glue wood together to get the 1-1/2 that I need.
May i ask what u make your patterns out of?
1/8" Baltic birch plywood , But they can be made out of anything that will work for you.
Thanks for another great Video Sir.
You are very welcome Thanks for watching

Those knots give it character. I think they make a project beautiful.
Thanks for watching
Where can I find a burn tip like yours , all i have seen is a little burn tip yours looks great burning the wood faster and not making dark spots!
Thanks for watching my video. You should be able to just buy a bigger tip to put on your propane torch. They usually sell them where you buy your propane torch.
What type of wood did you use? Great video and workmanship.
3/4" Sanded plywood
Excellent instructions! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
Why not use a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch dowel rod for the boiler of the train, or a piece of stair handrail
I guess you could This is just the way I have always done it Thanks for watching
Did you plane the wood down to get all the cup out of the wood?
No I just cut all of the parts from a 2x4 or 2x6
Great project. What kind of paints or stains do you use? Are they food grade?
I just use craft paint and stain, both safe after cured
You don’t have to apologize for going normal speed and taking a little longer. Most things I’ve learned as a beginner was from folks like you going normal speeds. Thanks for doing what you do!
Thanks for watching
Awesome, Luther. Nice model and lots of useful tips. Thanks.
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
Very creative down right to fine details.

Thanks for the video - one of my favourite toys made in wood. Unless I've missed it - did you buy the funnel or make one?
I bought it Craftparts.com
You can get them on Amazon, I think Craftparts.com discontinued that size.

Do you apply any finish to your baskets besides coloring the slats?
I spray a clear coat on them or put a boiled linseed oil on them.
