Jose Cuervo is cheap bottom shelf and its a Mixto meaning it only has 51% Blue Agave and the rest is grain alcohol. However, Jose Cuervo Tradicional is actually 100% Blue Agave. There are images of both in this video which leads me to assume that this person has absolutely no idea what they're talking about

This list is misleading. Only 2 on this list are respectable Fortaleza and Azuñia. I invite everyone to try the following. G4, El Tequileño, El Tesoro, Cazcanes, Cascahuin, Tequila Ocho, El Tapatio tequila, Pasote, Art de Nom.

Wow. I have never seen some of these brands mentioned in the same breath. I would call this list The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
I really don’t think a tequila made with a diffuser should ever be on a best list.
Once you mentioned Jose I disregarded everything else said. Jose is one of the worst out there.
My choice is Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia extra anejo then Fortaleza anejo and 1942 last of these three. But recently my son bought me Suavecito extra Anejo and I prefer Suavecito, especially for smoothness.

There wasn’t one. He just googled these brands and uses the information provided by the company. Or that is all I can tell. Not exactly a list to go by.

jose cuervo reposado is not bad, but silver its just for mix which i don' like, elJimador reposado is very good for the price, what about casadores? i like it althought is not smooth like eljimador
Jose sucks and El Jimador sucks... Casadores is a good budget tequila.... try El Tesoro and Fotaleza and then you will be happy :)

The only good tequila worth your money on this list was Azunia. Who the hell makes these lists. The list should have been the following: Suerte, El Tequilano and Arette (sipper+mixer), G4, Terralta, Volans, Tequila Ocho, El Tesoro, Fortaleza, Mijenta, Calle 23, Uno/Dos/Tres (123), San Matias, ArteNOM, Tanteo, Don Fulano, Primo, Cazcanes (All good sippers and could use for mixers as some arent to expensive.

Speaking from very recent experience, Hornitos is dangerous. It’s relatively easy to sip, and while it has a very average ABV, that shit had me plastered off two shots. I can sip half a bottle of Don Julio and feel incredible, but Hornitos is just rude. I have the darkest one.

Don Julio 70 is really smooth and tasty... but it is double filtered and then additives are added to it to give it some flavor. :(

Nothing in a Clase Azul bottle justifies the cost.... Its full of additives, its trash... dont waste your money. Fortaleza is the best tequila and best buy tequila in this video. Tapatio, Suerte, Tequila Ocho, Cascahuin, G4, and may others are so much better than anything on this list... Fortaleza being the only exception.
