Still can't fathom in 1990 I didn't realize how lucky I was
Taking my driver license in the E30 and guided by a very much motorsports interested elder driving instructor, learning me heel & toe technique, and when I just merely gave the impression of a little curiosity for his keen interest, what a full dose of motorsports textbook I always got.
As fast and perfect as he was behind the wheel on closed circuits, he was just as perfect in giving tips & tricks for driving safely and considerately out on the roads. R.I.P.
I myself have been lucky enough to participate as a spectator at NS24 in the 1993 edition. It was much more than pure racing, it was a total experience that I will remember as long as I live.
