Herschel Walker is legendary. Not only for how incredible of an athlete he was, but for how insanely driven he is. His workouts sound fake... then you see how jacked he is at age 58... and you don't know what to believe anymore.

If I had ever bullied Herschel Walker, I would try to find a way into the Witness Protection Program.

In the time it took me to watch this video, Herschel did 1000 sit-ups.

Met him when he was with the eagles, he always signed everything and talked to everyone at training camp, very nice man.
Same when he was in Dallas. There is nothing but good things to say about him
I got a signed football from my dads friend when i was like 8, had no idea who he was but come to find out he did MMA too and i like the UFC so its cool how that worked out

Definitely. He's up there with Wilt Chamberlain and Bo Jackson
Met him a few times when my dad and I had eagles tickets in the 90's...COULD NOT have been a nicer guy...totally in awe
Unless you piss him off. Lol
Nice to hear. So many guys seem nice in front of a camera but are jerks to their fans. I've met a lot of fighters in the UFC like that. Won't throw shade on them.. but Don Frye and Royce Gracie were both great guys. Nice to hear some people are good on and off the camera

Met the man in person. He is absolutely jacked
This is very true. I met him a few years ago, after being a fan my whole life. You don't really appreciate how big he actually is until you are up close
He went to my school in 87. He told us he did ballet and all the kids laughed at him.
I met him at a charity event years ago. Not only was he a mountain of a man he was amazingly gracious and treated every person there like it was a one one one meeting. He did that for a couple of hours. I'm a long time Bama fan, but was always a fan of his ability on the field. After the event I became a fan of Herschel Walker, the man. He's the real deal.
double00shotgun this comment made me think of him in little ballet clothes because he’s jacked and he’d be in a tutu it’s like from that one Dwayne Johnson movie when he plays ballet, that’s what i thought of, mad funny
double00shotgun he graduated in 82... do u mean 77?
His workout doesn't sound believable, until you look at him and see how jacked he is
Met him when I was a kid at Vikings training camp in Mankato Minnesota. We stayed until after practice to meet him. Saw Cris Carter, Steve Jordan, Rick Fenney, Gary Zimmerman, Rich Gannon, Carl Lee, Tim Irwin, Anthony Carter, Hassan Jones, Fuad Reveiz, and a bunch more. Herschel was very nice. Signed autographs and took pictures. It was a great day.
I always find it compelling when people like this are monsters physically, but then are so soft spoken and humble.

I believe that he also was state champ in wrestling. I was glad when my dad took me to watch Herschel in a high school football playoffs. It seemed at times he was moving the pile 20 to 30 yards with the opposing team on his back. Incredible athlete and a class act on and off the field. Few live up to the hype as well as he.

I’ll say this about Herschel, coming from a Clemson fan: In 1981, we had one of the best defenses in college football history. This unit surrendered just 10 points per game and forced 41 turnovers in just 12 games. The back seven alone had two college football hall of famers (Jeff Davis and Terry Kinard), and the defensive line featured The Fridge. Even though the offense was mediocre at best, we still won the national championship that year. With all that being said...
Herschel Walker rushed for 111 yards against them on 28 carries. Despite that, and despite facing the exact defense I just described above, his performance that day is still considered one of the worst games of his college career. That’s how good he was.
FF L I don’t like people like you, literally always have to say coming from a “your team” like nigga just kuz that’s your team doesn’t validate your point

My father graduated from UGA in the 1960's (as did I in the 1990's). He was a HUGE college football fan and I was eight-years-old in 1980 so I grew up watching Herschel play in his glory days. He was - and is - a god in the state of Georgia. As a nine-year-old, I attended picture day at UGA and clawed my way through a gigantic mass of fans and media to get Herschel's autograph. It's still one of my proudest memories of childhood.
Everybody has a spiritual path to fulfill its easy to see this great man live his out right before our eyes what a blessing to us all
Herschel and Bo Jackson may be the two greatest athletes to play in the NFL.
And Walter Payton!
Forgetting Larry Allen
LS House but he’s arguably the strongest offensive lineman in nfl history, on top of a 4.85 40 and a 30 inch vert. Idc about the dudes lateral quickness, I’m not comparing him to anybody. I’m just saying that Larry Allen is also one of the most athletically gifted players to ever be in the NFL
LS House you’re comparing his quickness and speed to other players in all position groups. I’m talking about the offensive lineman group of guys. Name one offensive lineman that’s as strong as Allen, as FAST as Allen, and solid as an athlete as Allen is that ISNT another hall of famer. Allen, to me, is the most athletically gifted offensive lineman to ever play the game
Umm Deion Sanders anyone?
Single craziest statement in this whole video is that he was state champ for the 100 m, 200m, AND shot-put. That’s is UNHEARD OF. Insanely impressive!!
Props to the G.O.A.T. I'm 52 and do 300 pushups a day, could barely do 10 about 5 years ago. Lost 60 pounds in a 3 year time span, between 2010-2013. Ran my 3rd fastest half marathon in February 2020 (my last). Going to focus on the Herschel Walker pushup brigade. I'm going to try pullups since I couldn't do any when I was a kid. This story is inspiring, and I didn't know he was still relevant until last week. Never too late.

If Herschel Walker never played in that USFL league & had got drafted by Denver, 49ers, Kansas City, Redskins, & Miami he could’ve easily have been a NFL HALL OF FAMER.
Interesting idea of him going to the 49ers, who knows how different things would have been. I love Hershel Walker, he was one of my idols as a kid and to this day I respect the hell out of him. That said, seek out some game highlights of Hershel pre 89-90 and post 89-90, something happened because something changed. Walker was a downfield runner that seeked contact and laid DB's out. For whatever reason around 90, those speed burst started going east and west towards the sidelines. I'm not hating, do your own research and draw your own conclusion. He maintained so long in The NFL because of his attitude and he was a great receiver for a RB and ended up returning kickoffs.
Never knew Herschel fought in MMA on top of everything else he was the champ at,¬ even starting in MMA til he's already in his 50's, - Unbelievable! That's just amazing!
KTO you mastered this video ... well done!

Real talk though, working out as much as Herschel Walker is actually bad for your health in the long run. Sustained moderate exercise is best for you.
Jon Smith doubt it. He looks great
@@fast6232 And for all we know his heart is starting to weaken. And I'm just talking about the averages anyway. But haven't you noticed that a lot of pro athletes, the apex of human physical potential, tend to die in their 50s and 60s a lot more than you would expect?
Watching this after a workout, as a teenager who plays three sports I felt dead after 50 push-ups yet this man can do 1500 in his 50’s. Wow.
Herschel is a mix of a running back, full back, 3rd down back, special teams, and wide receiver he could do it all man
If you don’t get hype at the end of the KTO video when he shows a highlight and that music plays. I don’t think you are human.
Yah that endings laavvaaa. None better on youtube id bet a couple bucks on that
That whole video got me hyped
Hype for his lies? 40+ years of 1500 pushups/day, yet not one vid exists. So nice to not have white guilt.
@@JoeSexPack It's really not hard if you spread it out. If it's your job to be an athlete, you can spend 8 hours watching tv/listening to music just exercising. Doing it with decent breaks in between, you can pump out hundreds of pushups an hour. If you get good at them, a set of 50 is nothing. If you've got 9-5 to just watch tv and bang out push ups during the boring parts, it's not unbelievable. Hell, I could do it and I'm just someone who keeps in shape. Doing it every day is the mental toughness portion.
....So do 2000 pushups & post vid. Then show us 3000 situps & 1500 pullups done the same day, & do it again tomorrow, at age 56! That's the claim, which is believable with photos & vid's, none of which are found. World Record in one hour is 2220, but that pace requires no other work that day, & rest for days after. If daily pace is 1/2 of that, he needs 2 hours. Plus 2 hours each for situps & pullups, for 6 hours total. not counting food, water & rest. Many of the same muscles are used for each exercise, slowing pace. 7-8 hours/day for 40+ years, with no vid? Good luck. www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/carlton-williams-pushup-record-50-year-old_us_564dd4aee4b031745cefeb24

I heard a story about Herschel Walker, he said that he had never lifted a weight in his life. Someone asked him how the hell he got that big, and he said "A deck of cards." An Ace was 14 pushups, a King was 13, A Queen was 12, and you get the picture.
Ed Dixon 🏅💪🏿
i think that was ray lewis
One year on the show "Superstars" he said he never lifted weights but he grew up on a farm He said " I was 14 years old before I realized my name wasn't Git wood"
I'm old enough to remember watching NFL in the 80's with my brothers who were diehard football fans. Superstars and shows like that highlighted the best football dudes I ever saw. A few stood out including Mark Clayton from Miami Dolphins, Hershell Walker, Darrell Green, Bo Jackson, Mike Singletary, Ronnie Lott, Barry Sanders and Marcus Allen. Walker was a dominant running back that played in some league called USFL B4 the NFL and was considered a gym rat, doing martial arts or whatever. Along with Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson, he's one of those mythical players who were awesome but never got to win a championship for whatever reason
bwag14 His dad and uncles worked in the pulp wood industry ( logging) when they use to load trucks by hand.
Mr Walker played as a senior at Wrightsville when I was a junior at Hawkinsville. He was sooo fast, strong, and smart I just got out of the way. He was also an Olympic trials runner. At THE UGA he was at the top of his class until he won the Heisman and went to make millions as a 20 year old! Go Hershel Go!
I have a Walker mini die cut card from when he played with the Eagles, definitely one of my most personal prized possessions. Also, a cousin of mine worked as an electrician in Athens contracted through UGA and the university invited all the contractors working that week to a meet/greet with Herschel and sure enough, my cousin was able to meet and speak with him for about 30 seconds after taking a picture with him. This had been the better of 10 years or so ago and he said Herschel looked like an absolute monster of a man in person as if he was chiseled out of stone. Definitely a once in a lifetime type of athlete that we may never see again.
*When you said he was the fastest & the strongest at the same time in track & field for his state...........mind blown! lol*
Basil Shabazz did it in Arkansas back in the early 1990's. I believe his state long jump record still stands, he dominated the sprints, and was the Gatorade National Athlete of the Year. He had world class sprinter speed and ended up getting drafted by MLB. His best sport was football (he played RB) but unfortunately he was unable to qualify for college right out of high school (he later played for a small school, UAPB). He didn't even really play basketball seriously however he managed to dunk from near the foul line in games.
I was there. My high school, Warner Robins, hosted the State championship track meet for all classifications (there were 4 at the time). The football team had to do volunteer work for the meet and I got to watch the single most impressive performance I have seen in my life, up to and since that point. Herschel won multiple sprints (100, 220, 4x100, shot put and I believe another relay). He won every event he was in and had more points than any other team had team points. It was a day I will never forget. He was a mythical figure even as a high schooler.

Hype? Nah. I live in Australia and have had a secondary interest in American football. There are not that many names I remember and immediately recognise from my early years of watching NFL. But Herschel Walker is definitely one of them. Along with Bo Jackson, Emmett Smith, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Willy Gault and (you might find this weird) Jim Plunkett. Oh and Dan Marino.
I remember watching him play in the NFL it was unbelievable. the guy was an animal. Everybody was scared to tackle him because he would run right through them and hurt them. And on top of that he was lightning fast when he got in the open field.

He deserves to be in the pro football hall of fame. I think that the NFL is mad that he went to the USFL first but it’s the pro football hall of fame not the NFL hall of fame.
brokenpixels - great point because the modern NFL was caused by a merging of the American Football League and The National Football League. Plus, there are no more leagues really to develop young talent like there is in baseball.
It may not say it but it is most certainly the NFL Hall of Fame. Make no doubt about it.
brokenpixels it’s a shame his best 3 years were in the usfl. He would be top 5 all time in rushing yards if you combine them
He's a legend, got to see him play at UGA.
Just watched the chael sonnen video ; he was an olympic sprinter in 1980 (when US boycotted) one of the clips of him mentions that in passing.
Awesome!
Sonnen did not knw what he was talking about. Walker did not make the final of the men's 100m at the 1980 Us Olympic trials.
My favorite video by far, excellent work my friend!!
Made this vid for a Georgia fan on my birthday. Mad respect bro ✊
I remember when Tom Landry signed him to the Cowboys. He was starting a total rebuild of America's team. Watching him run out of that backfield was exciting because he was almost always breaking out into a big run. I still think they should have kept him and rebuilt the team.
chuck norris still checks under his bed at night to make sure herschel isnt there ! LOL
Literally just watching your old video about Jack Youngblood cause I love you so much
I have a picture of him hugging me on my wall, he’s my hero!
When Superman was a boy, he grew up wanting to be Herschel Walker
I forgot the MMA thing. You'd think that would be a freak show fight in Japan. He won both his fights by TKO
