Just to add to Weylie’s comment on weed:
Although weed does not have addictive properties, people do become dependent on it. Some people can’t eat or sleep without smoking. It does have negative effects for those who smoke before their brain is fully developed. For some people people (me) it’s what made my anxiety worse, which is why I had to stop. It was fun for a while like I would smoke to “ease my anxiety” until I realized my anxiety would be worse when smoking. Just really be careful where you purchase it too.
A good friend of mine went through severe depression and was suicidal this year when he tried to quit weed after almost a decade of dependency. He was never addicted to weed but was addicted to the relaxed feeling and familiarity it brought him, and he couldn’t get through a day without smoking it, and was frequently stressed and anxious if he wasn’t high. It’s taken him almost six months to finally get clean, but it’s been the hardest six months he’s ever been through and he almost felt like he had no future.
For anyone who reads this, please consider doing thorough research on the long term effects of weed 🙏🏻💕
@@overJoey yes! I had a friend that did dabs a lot and he had to wean himself off of weed over a several months. At the time I didn't even realize it could get that bad but he was doing several dabs every single day casually and to me, getting wild was finishing a joint by myself throughout the day lol.

I relate to you so much! My bf & I have been together for almost 9 years. The beginning was intense & consuming. As the years go by it gets so bleh, but you still love each other. It’s just not as immersive.

I feel you on the chronic UTI journey, truly a journey. Ultimately what helped me was dandelion root powder and understanding that so many of my symptoms were anxiety driven and psychosomatic. Thanks for sharing! it's so nice to hear someone advocating for different healing methods.

You bring such a valid point regarding western vs eastern medicine. I study in occupational therapy and I’m glad we talk about those differences in my program at my university, but I know it’s not always the case and when I talk to people I am often confronted with this western type of view while knowing that there are many more ways to deal with illnesses in general ! I think the most important thing is having a balanced life and searching about what works best for you. Anyways love you girl ❤️

Taking antibiotics over and over to tread or retreat the same type of infection can lead to MRSA. Finding ways to prevent that same infection from reoccurring is the true treatment. Keep doing what you’re doing to prevent ur UTI from reoccurring. Sometimes your body does need change from what you were doing.
Agreed and to add on (not trying to @ anyone) but you should have gone to your GP or WIC first instead of ER. Your GP can do urine cultures as well, so you dont need to “waste resources” at the ER for something that can be done at your PMP.
Using antibiotics doesn't cause MRSA. MRSA is around because people were misusing antibiotics and not finishing their courses. That's why it's important to only use antibiotics when necessary and to take them as directed by a doctor.
Good points. Using antibiotics when not necessary mostly leads to antibiotic resistance and that will just mean that next time you have an infection, you require a bigger gun antibiotics, and yes MRSA is one of the bacteria that resist some more basic antibiotics, but certainly that's not the only one.

Anyone struggling with UTIs, I would highly recommend D-mannose. It’s a form of sugar you can find in health shops. I struggled with them for years and this was the only thing that got rid of them.

loved that you mentioned Chinese medicine for UTI's! I had the same experience being so sick of taking antibiotics and finally TCM worked! My body was also really damp from drinking iced water and eating fried foods all the time hahaha
