Man, I am loving this Snow drive around town. Some beautiful OLD homes. Thanks Lance
RK Harm24 Great scenery and some real old houses here!
Thanks for posting this vid.
Based on my experience with my OB and my wife's FXT trying to get going from a stop in deep snow (or polished icy condition), shifting the tranny manually into second gear, is the best way for an uneventful start. In really deep snow or extremely icy inclines, put the CVT into second gear manually and switch off "VDC" would get you going without any drama. Also, for folks with X-Mode on their Subies, switch off "VDC" and press the "X-Mode" button should do wonders to get you out of difficult situations. Just my two bits!
Thought i recognized your car, i live in dubuque. Roads are real good fun. Especially with the people in our area.
Ben K Ha! Right!!
Wow....absolutely no problem for the SUBIE - and on the way up on the hill stands a Crosstrek as well :-) NICE !!!
Good video
beautiful city! Hello America! )
2:29....That's what she said. LOL I couldn't help myself. Sorry.
Rick Hutton Bahahaha. Ah yisss!
Should I buy a used subaru even though cvt problems poeple have?probably buy one with 60k or should I buy a toyota tacoma?
I mean... it's all personal pref. While Subaru has had issues with the CVTs and still does, like other mfgs, I would say that most those issues were with the first few years. My next buy is likely a Tacoma for what it's worth.
Subaru man Subies for the win.
Get you a Subaru and leave it as it is...no hardcore mods and you should be okay. But honestly, like people and houses, everything has a chance to go bad and need repair.
Angel Vlog's save yourself the headache and get a Taco!
FWIW - I know this isn't the same exact comparison but I was a huge Subaru fan and still do love their capabilities. Their AWD system appears to be one of the very best out there. But after my 2000 & 2003 Outback needed a total of 3 Head gaskets and then my family members I believe 2008 forester also needing a HG repair I finally got burnt out on them. I sold my 00 & 03 Outback for a Toyota Sienna and started driving our other vanilla car a 2011 Camry. My two Toyota have been FAR less of an issue. I do plan on getting a 4Runner or Tacoma at some point in the next few years. If I could rely on Subaru more I would very likely buy another.
Got your transmission fixed?
Scott Z Yep! I’ve had it back about 2 weeks now/since the last vid. Didn’t cost me a dime. :)
@@HighjakSecondary Nice. Did they say what happened to it? New warranty? Congrats bro. Nice to see they didn't try to blame the lift or the wheels/tires.
Rick Hutton I’ll do an update vid, my man! 😁
What tires do you have installed?
Bfg k02 he has links in description I think
BFG KO2 ' S are great, but add a lot of unsprung weight to your Subaru. This decreases your to the wheel horsepower and torque, also mpg. Why posting a two year old video?
W G Why are you assuming the date/time stamp is correct? It’s not.
