👉🏼 Chapter 1 - Introduction
The side effects of artificial sugars may include: digestive issues, increased blood sugar levels, a higher risk of cancer, increased blood pressure and adverse effects on those with pre-existing mood disorders.
Too much of Artificial sugar may also have an effect on some people's immune systems.
👉🏼 Chapter 2 - is it for real? Like really bad?
In the United States, the average adult consumes an estimated 17 teaspoons of added sugar each day
That accounts for 14% of total calorie intake in adults following a 2,000-calorie diet.
Experts believe that sugar consumption is a major cause of obesity and many chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes
And let’s have a look at the link between sugar intake and health problems:
We have a wide number of metabolic diseases listed here, how sugar can affect your health during pregnancy and that it has a very negative impact on your teeth in general - and this is really scary
www.efsa.europa.eu/sites/defa...
👉🏼 Chapter 3 - Problem
I love having pasty or a chocolate with my morning coffee
Having Biscuits or protein bars during the day
And destroying a bag of Haribo at night while I’m working on my creative projects
Chapter 4 - What is research saying? SUGAR ADDICTION is it real?
Yes! There’s plenty of research proving that sugar is addictive.
Sugar has addictive potential because it releases opioids and dopamine in the brain. Eating sugar also increases the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that gives us a "happy" feeling.
Simply put, eating sugar causes chemical changes in the brain that make us feel good, and once that feeling has worn off, we're left wanting more.
Sounds very similar to drugs, doesn’t it?
One reason that we eat so many sugary items is because of the global rise in sugar-rich fast food consumption. The fast food market was worth more than $539 billion in 2016, and is expected to top $690 billion in 2022. Not only is the fast food economy growing, but the portions are too -- an analysis of serving sizes at 10 popular US fast food restaurants showed that entrees, sides and desserts increased significantly in size and calories from 1986 to 2016.

🆓 DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ABOUT TRAVEL TO NORWAY, living in Norway or travel in general?
Send me a message, I’ll be happy to help 🤗
Stay in touch! Stay safe! Be happy!
#NoSugar #quitsugar #norway
🙋🏼♀️⁉️ What’s your relationship with sugar? Can you imagine your life without pastries, chocolate, candies? 😉
Thank you 🤗 Stay Safe ❤️
I barely eat sugar. I go sugar free! X
Sugar is very dangerous. I never take sugar and I feel super ( no "sugar free" like coke 0 ). Sugar acts like a drug. It goes directly to stimulate neuronal receptors usually stimulated by drugs such as cocaine. After a normal "withdrawal crisis" the whole organism, all the cells, begins to detoxify. Insulin remains normal and diseases such as diabetes or Alzheimer or inflammation in general begin to regress.
Anna Do you eat granola no sugar first thing in the morning? If you do Do you find it that it gives you enough energy but not the calories?
YOU GO, GIRL !!! YOU'LL WIN, I KNOW YOU WILL !!! Congratulations on the first 7 !! 😇
Ooh wow 😍
I've been thinking about going 'No sugar', and seeing you going full throttle is an inspiration ❤
I'll guess I'll go for it too 🥰
I already ate a left over cookie 2day, so starting 2morrow a 7 day challenge of No Sugar 🤝🏻
Thanks for the inspiration, Anna 😘😘😘😘
Good for you Anna, looking forward to see your results for the next 7 days of no sugar. Whoa, no alcohol and now no sugar…. good job.
I love this video! Great job :)
Great start!! I went 1 year no sugar not even artificial sweeteners. And I felt so much better physically and mentally! After awhile you don’t really even want sugar! Keep up the journey and you’ll be better for it! I also cut out coffee cause it made me want sugar cause like you I always had them together. It’s not only training your body but your brain as well. One more thing…Coke Zero is not your friend😕
Keep up the good work and congratulations on making the turn!! Love your content!!!
😱😱 1 year?? Gosh! How?? Especially when you travel? Especially to Europe to countries like France or Italy? ☺️ how can you keep ‘no sugar’ life? 😉
And of course ☺️
Thank you soooo very much for watching 🤗
You are my hero🤩
Aww thank you so much 😉🤗🤗🤗 I hope I really can do it for 2 weeks 🙄😉
Wow! You are awesome! Great results and big motivator to try the same challenge! Will wait for 40 days update :)
Aww thank you so much indeed ☺️🤗🤗
Well.. the first 3 days were really really really tough 😬
My advice - don’t start close to pms especially if you are craving chocolates really bad (like me 🙄) those days 😉
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel yes, I am chocolate addicted. That is why you are a hero for me :) Thanks a lot for the advice!
Hi Anna, thank you so much for your videos about traveling to Norway in winter! I am going to Oslo for 3 weeks this December. Please what brand of waterproof winter jacket and what brand of waterproof shoes would you recommend?
Even when you don't add sugar to your coffee, it's there in the milk (lactose). Sugary / carbohydrate food is the root of most health problems - mental and metabolic.
As long as you’re not drinking soda, then I you’re doing much better than most people. Also gummy treats like Haribo are very bad for your teeth!
I couldn't live without gelato. After all gelato is not that "heavy".
Even fruit is a type of sugar at the end of the day.
The important thing is not exaggerating with overall sugar daily intake.
It’s still sugars 😭😭😭😭 and unfortunately not real sugar 🙄
But … once in a while .. why not 😉🤗
No sugar challenge, well it's tough but always controllable as you said. Again I always believe, replicate the dopamine release you were getting because of sugar by doing something else and the brain won't feel any cravings for sugar. It's not the ingredient, it's the chemical formation in the brain that it craves.
Great and interesting video, as always. I am impressed of your experiments into healthy habits! I also find Dr. Berg interesting, but your videos are more entertaining!👍🙂
PS. I also try to avoid sugar, and have quit alcohol and smoke, as you🙂
I finished all my Kvikk Lunsj:( Have to travel to Norway again to get those chocolates.
But Kvikk Lunsj is so low in sugar already... That's one thing I noticed when I was in Norway - Things in general have such a lower sugar content than South Africa! Maybe that's part of why I was so much happier there...
Anna you have to find other alternative sweeteners like xylithol or pure honey you wont be struggeling😊
Quite interesting and humorous. Life is short, with or without sugar. Do, in moderation, what makes you happy. It's not like you're terribly unhealthy to at the start...
I did one simple step a week ago, I substituted artificial refined sugar with honey, my teeth are whiter, I feel better and it's easier to get into a routine since I'm not having sugar spikes. (I assume)
Hi whats up anna so yesterday i saw you're short video about starbucks in denmark and I've been wondering to try a starbucks in canada how much is the price in a canadian starbucks my favorite coffee drink is the iced coffee white chocolate mocha is so good
Ohh in Canada?? 🤩🤩 how interesting! How much was it? 😉 cheaper than in Denmark or more expensive? ☺️
Please make a pros and cons video of living in north vs south of Norway 😊
Midnight Sun + Northern light and cheaper than the south 😉
Are you planning to move to Norway? ☺️
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel yeah (2024) learning norsk right now. future nurse here!!😁😁
U can bake a muffin and go to health food store they have sprouted muffins so much healthier ❤
Anna you're crazy enough with or without SUGAR😅. Cut sugar out!
😂😂😂😂 thank you darling! I’m a CZcamsr 😎 you can’t be normal in this (CZcams) world 😉
But yeah… I’ll give it a try for 2 weeks 🙌🏻
Anna is my best friend 😊👍❤️
You are so pretty
Ur skin looks better without junkfood
Ran out of Coke and hadn't gone to the store for more. Woke up on the 5th day and felt sick, no energy, nauseated and all over not well.
Later in the day, total unrelated, was watching news on YT and a segment was on caffeine withdrawal and symptoms, had every single one.
Will not say how many a day I was having other than more than recommended. How much sugar per can... a lot.
When i went back to Italy from UK i decided to cut off all the chocolate 🍫 bar or sweet treats. And i swap them with a dry fruit and i definitely feel better. I still use sugar in my morning espresso but is the only sugary stuff i had during the day.
Im doing this rn and I’m only 15 I will update at the end of each day
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
Day 6
Day 7
I Need To Do This For A Whole Month💅🏽🤣
You are so funny ❤
I also leave sugar and today is my day 16 before I am also addicted to sugar but know I don't have any cravings for it
Dear Anna, you are such a hoot and so absolutely ridiculously cute. We all love your entertaining videos. Please stop torturing yourself and have some sugar. I switched to raw sugar years ago because it has chromium in it, an essential mineral for the function of the pancreas. God bless you, and stay safe and stay free!🤠🇺🇸😎
Wow
Haribo=❤
You're so sweet ✌❤
Aww thank you so much Charley ☺️🤗🤗
Good job ,next stop reduce carbohydrates
I don't eat sweet stuff about 2,5 Months
Wow! 🤩🤩 how is it going?? Was it difficult for you to stop eating sweets?
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel Before that 2,5 Months stopped eating sugar only fruits and coke zero than I refuse fruits and coke zero to also I am vegetarian
min 5:39 ! What the Coca Cola bottle is doign on the table 😁
It’s sugar free 😈😎
Try intermittent fasting do research love u❤
Cut out the Coke Zero if you want to retrain your tastebuds and not crave the sweet taste. Even artificial sweeteners will make you crave sweetness.
Islam will conquer whole Earth 💪💪💪
