At-Home Lab: Roly Poly Behavior [Isopod Lab Setup, Observations, and Inquiry]

Are you ready to conduce an at-home lab with pill bugs? Also known as isopods (Armadillidiidae), woodlice, or roly-polies, this lab is easy to set up and perform at home - as long as you can find some pill bugs. You'll learn how to set up a choice chamber for your isopods to see how they respond to different stimuli.
If you don't have your own materials, that's ok too! In this video I'll perform a version of the lab where you can get data for both the kinesis (random movement) and taxis (directed movement) of the roly polies.
