I inadvertently bought a family of woodlice inside when I bought a plant in for the winter and they'd moved into the pot. I ended up feeding them sprout leaves all winter and set them free in a nice part of the garden when they started breeding like crazy. Fun little beasties.

    Late Comment but..
    1. I mix my substrate with spag moss and a little bit of leaf litter.
    2. Throw some palm bark in and kinda dig it into the soil
    3. I put the leftover leaf litter on top
    4. I bury a huge cork slab in and put some of the soil on top
    5. I make little holes with planters
    6. Finish it off with a little cucumber on top :)

Nice to hear you're planning to try out a bioactive leopard gecko tank! I have a couple quick vids up of my male's, Aurelio's, bioactive setup that you might wanna check out. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!!! They're not as easy to setup as a tropical bioactive tank. And you cant just throw in excavator clay and hope for the best. It won't ever become a true bioactive tank and will eventually be overrun by harmful bacteria. A very balanced substrate mix is required.
