You should have springtails, they keep the mold/fungus in check and are compatible with isopods.
The mini white isopods won't directly hurt the others but they often outcompete other isopod species to the point the others suffer and die off over time.

As they are parthogenic every single isopod can make more isopods.
Bottom line, they are fast breeders. Much faster than most other species.

I’ve had mold outbreaks in my isopod enclosures, especially when they first start off and there aren’t as many springtails. Springtails are generally useful for stopping mold outbreaks before they get big but once they’ve taken up lots of space in the terrarium it could take a long time for the springtails to eat it all which the isopods don’t have. Mold isn’t necessarily harmful to isopods but they could get tangled in it, especially the babies. Also isopods do not eat mold, maybe they do indirectly when they eat decomposing matter but not even close to a primary or even secondary food source. I have no clue where this misconception came from

8:00 isopods eat detritus and don’t produce glucose from eating chlorophyll. They’re mostly eating what is already starting to die. To feed them just throw in some plant trimmings and leaves. Kinda miss named video cuz it sounds like you think they’re starving but you’ve got plenty for them to eat. The set up looks good and mushroom are a good sign and not hard to believe at all. They have both isopod food aswell as leaves, worm casings, and lots of wood.
I cant work out whether the ones that are dying is because they are old and at the end of their lives or if there is something that is poisoning them. unfortunately.
Unfor6the bottles opening is only 5 cm wide so i cant reach a couple of the dead isopods, so i hope it's not a disease.

I would not follow this advice at all. I would not recommend eating mushrooms at all if you don’t know the species and there is no telltale signs of a poisonous mushroom unless you can identify extremely similar species easily. A better way is to rub it against your skin and wait for a reaction. If nothing happens pop it in your mouth but don’t swallow. Wait a few minutes and if nothing happens, you can probably eat it. Only do this is you are desperate though
