Since isopods are hard to view in a zoo type setting, but there's so much greatness to view, you should set up an isopod exhibit in your zoo that includes some sort of "special magnifying" viewing goggles that kids can look through to see "inside the world of isopods" but what the kids will really be seeing is a pre-recorded video that shows lots of zoomed in, interesting isopod activity. That could be a really cool exhibit.

These don’t seem to be able to make that tight ball shape. Gosh I loved those little rollies as a kid. They were so gentle and adorable. Glad I accidentally kept a bunch of leaf litter in my little habitats for them with my caterpillars. Back then there was no internet. I just grabbed the stuff I always found them in because they clearly loved it.
Because I was not sure what the insects needed, I would only keep a habitat for a couple weeks before putting them all back where I found them. Always making a new habitat each time I found new critters (frogs, crawfish, snakes, insects, lizards, and newts).
